The course includes aspects of law that would be useful in other professions, such as business, human resources, finance and education. Students will also learn about aspects of law that are useful to themselves as a member of society, such as how and why laws are made and rights and responsibilities. Students will also have the opportunity to observe law in practice, with a visit to Crown Court to witness a trial ‘in action’ and a further visit to the House of Commons to see where laws are debated and passed. WHERE NEXT? The study of AS/A2 Law provides a useful background for further study such as a main degree subject or as a subsidiary part of a degree or many other professional qualifications.
