Managing Project Teams
• Adjunct staff are not employees, therefore need:
• to be on a paid appointment, or
• a sub-contract in place
• Students own their IP and have rights. To participate they
• May be required to assign their IP to GU, &
• be on a paid appointment or sub-contract arrangement
• Always talk to GE in relation to student rights, IP ownership,
publication
• The surplus amount is ‘indicative’ only
• Do not approve access to surplus until the end of the project
• Agree to the % distribution of surplus upfront but remember that the
amount can and usually does change
