Dear Colleague,
The European Environment Agency (EEA), with the assistance of the European Topic Centre on Air
and Climate Change, has been working on improvements in the informal data review of the E-PRTR
dataset. Amongst these improvements, the EEA is working on the so-called ´incompleteness checks´.
We are pleased to send you the draft materials which collect the methods and the results of this
exercise. During 2014 we have been working with the air releases. We earmarked in resources for
2015 to continue developing these type of checks also for other media.
We would very much appreciate to receive your views on these documents by 16th January.

refer to the methodology document in the previous folder.
We look forward to receiving your input (eprtr@eea.europa.eu) and we hope that this new element
brings even more quality to the E-PRTR.
