GT appointed to lead meeting. No objections
Leon de Witt opens with prayer
Debate whether constitutional or not to elect President without
constitution
 Niel Kirstein (NK) argues that can’t be unconstitutional as there is
no constitution
 Tony Berlowitz (TB) suggests elect President 1st then continue with
election
 GT asks if there are objections to proposal – none
 NK and Alan Browne(AB) asked to present visions
 Election by secret ballot
 NK elected as first Gauteng President
 Election of other candidates moved to point 4 in agenda
Constitution
Gauteng Endurance(GE) is official name and affiliated to ERASA. All
references to Gauteng Union change to GE
Union consists of 1 Club. GT suggests that all definitions be the same as
ERASA definitions. Paul van Dam (PVD) SASCOC defines province as 1
club
Point 5.1 change to Gauteng Province
Point 5.11 leave as is
Majority vote at any election wins
Point 8.1.1.3 Initial term 1 year. Debate special circumstances.2 years
agreed
Point 8.1.2.7 Vice Pres act as convenor of selection committee

