Lesson Plan Department/Course: English Grammar Total class time: 10 weeks Title and Description of Lesson: Improve your writing in English The goal of this instruction is to gain basic grammar and writing skills in English. Moreover, through the instruction, you will be able to build confidence in their ability of English skills. To be an effective and efficient instruction, you will go through the instruction with six different cognitive level based on bloom’s taxonomy. First, you will learn five different sentence structures to recognize. After understanding differences between the sentences, you will clarify the sentences and apply them to the real-world problems. Then you will use those structures to describe a situation and write/rewrite paragraphs. End of this instruction, you will gain a variety of vocabulary and comfortably be able to create paragraphs using various sentence structures. Furthermore, you will comfortably be able to continue learning English after the instruction because you will know English is not as hard as you think, and it gives you a new perspective of the world.
