Fauna Inventory
The following inventory is a representation of animals found in the Florida International
University Nature Preserve; as such it may or may not fully represent all animal species found
on university grounds. Native status presented in this checklist refers to nativity of a given
species to inland southern Florida. It is not final and additional species may be added or
removed in the future as needed.
