How to Submit a Proposal
Step 1: Qualify
Selection is based on meeting the session needs defined by the
Conference Committee and speakers' qualifications to present on the
proposed subject matter. The ABIA is dedicated to developing
educational sessions and facilitating networking with peers. Please
keep in mind that the conference presentations must be issue oriented
and content rich. Presentations are not a vehicle to sell products and
services. All selected speakers must be members of the ABIA.
Step 2: Complete the Session Proposal Form
Step 3: Submit all required information no later than April
30, 2015.
E-mail TheABIA@aba.com
Step 4: If your proposal is selected

The ABIA staff will contact you directly. No phone calls
please.
All proposals will be reviewed by the Conference
Committee. Decisions will be made and notifications will be
e-mailed no later than May 15, 2015.
Important
Please be sure to include your
contact information at the bottom
of the Session Proposal Form.

You will be promoted in the advance program distributed to
all past attendees, ABIA members, prospects and the
conference page at theabia.com. You will also be linked in
the popular conference app, available to all attendees.
How to Submit a Successful Topic
 Focus on session take-home
value by incorporating practical
how-to ideas
 Session content should move
past "the basics" and should
include action attendees can take
 Include banker presenters
 Use case studies and real-life
examples
 Plan an interactive session
with Q&A
 Provide handouts and takeaways

ABIA does not pay honorarium or expenses for speakers.

Non-bank speaker registrations will be complementary
within a corporate partner package as one additional
registration.

Speakers will be required to use their own computer for
each session. There will be LCD projectors only in each
breakout room.
Substitution Policy: Speaker substitutions are subject to ABIA approval.
In the event a proposed and confirmed speaker cannot fulfill his/her
commitment, the presenting company will not be guaranteed a speaking
slot for an alternative representative.
