Background on Shakespeare
William Shakespeare was
an English poet and
playwright. He is frequently
called England's national
poet and the “bard of
Avon”. His plays have been
translated into every major
living language and preformed
many more times than any
other playwright. At the age
of 18 he married Anne
Hathaway and they had three
children. Shakespeare wrote
most of his work between 1589
and 1613.

the film produced by Baz
Luhrmann. He was the
same person who produced
Moulin Rouge. He
produced a version of

people my age can
understand. I think it
is also easier to follow
because it is put into
terms that I can
understand better.

Romeo and Juliet is kind of like Edward and Bella in the
twilight series. They both have forbidden love for Romeo and
Juliet it is because of a family feud and for Edward and
Bella it is because Edward is a vampire. They both want to
rush things as well and I guess you could say they are all a
little young.
