Coming To America
Who was George Harrison? George Harrison was part of one the best bands
ever. The band was the Beatles. The Beatles made many songs. One of his biggest
accomplishments was being part of this band. Another accomplishment was that
he got married to Pattie Boyd. Pattie was a model. His third accomplishment was
that he got married again after divorcing: he married a woman named Olivia.
Another accomplishment he had was having a kid named Dhani. At the end of the
Beatles, they made two last albums. These albums had the greatest songs. One of
the albums is Abbey Road. Overall, George was a man in the Beatles. George
Harrison was a great person and bass player!
George came to America because he was on tour with the Beatles. They
were pulled to America by the great fans they heard about and places to be. It
was a voluntary migration because he chose to have toured here. They spoke
English very well, but they had British accents. He got here by his private plane
with the other Beatles aboard. When he arrived, there was a giant crowd of
people waiting for them. Eventually, He faced getting divorced by his ex-wife
Pattie Boyd. His childhood was the greatest of the Beatles because his parents
didn’t die like the other Beatles. Most people did believe in him. He was a very
brave man. No one was mean to him. This Beatle became part of the greatest
band in the world. He wanted to play guitar and then he met Paul on a bus and
they started a band. Then, he went to bass. That was a change for him to learn a
new instrument. He is part of America because they stayed in America and people
loved their music.
George was a great bass player in the Beatles. George was an American
representative because he could get crowds to cheer for him and the Beatles. He
was a key person because he and the rest of the band were loved by the whole
world. The other foreign singers that came to America were not all loved by the
whole world, but he was. It meant that he was a proud person who lived in
America. America is a melting pot. All the different cultures and religions that
form in America create it. George applied because he was from England and then
came here. George should be a representative because he had the guts to come,
sing, and die here. He started a family here with one child named Dhani. He gave
money to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
One interesting fact is he looks the oldest, but he was the youngest Beatle.
He was an unliked boy in school, but one year after he started dating a popular
girl and he was instantly popular. Finally, his parents didn’t die like the other
Beatles when he was a child.
He was born on February 25, 1943. He was born in Liverpool England.
George and the Beatles came to America on February 7, 1964. He attended
Liverpool Public School. His hometown was Los Angeles, California. He married
Pattie Boyd and then divorced and married a girl named Olivia. He made a child
with Olivia named Dhani. He was 58 years old when he died from throat cancer.
I chose this person because he was in one of the best bands in the world.
He was in the Beatles. He inspired me because the Beatles are in my top 5 favorite
bands. He represents our country because when the Beatles came to America, the
fans wouldn’t let them off the plane. The cops got them off and the fans came
chasing after them. He represented us because he was in one of the best bands in
the world.
He did not want to sing, but when he did sing he had a great voice. He did
drugs which caused him to die. Yes, I did find this decision bad. My person’s
actions did not change my opinion about him. He had throat cancer from the
drugs. He caused many people to be shocked when he died. He took marijuana
and alcohol which was a bad decision. People were shocked when he divorced
Pattie Boyd. People were in shock when the Beatles broke up. He did not like not
being in a band. The fans did not like them breaking up.
“Try to realize it’s all within yourself no one else can make you change,” or
“We are not these bodies or its being here now that’s important. There’s no past
and there’s no future, time is a very misleading thing. All there is ever is the now.
We can gain experience from the past, but we can’t relieve it; and we can hope
for the future, but we don’t know if there is one,” were two quotes that George
turned into songs. He meant that you can always be confident even if you are not
confident. You can be confident if you just believe. George Harrison cared and
loved America!
