We have a strong research and teaching performance record and are consistently among the top three schools in Australia. In the most recent national Excellence in Research Assessment Exercise (2012), POLSIS research was judged as “well above world standard”, achieving the maximum score of 5 out of 5. In the last QS World University survey, we were ranked in the top 50 in the world. • We have 35 plus fulltime teaching and support staff and around 30 part time • Around 80 Phd and 300 Master students • Nearly 3000 undergraduate students • The School of Political Science and International Studies is part of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences • We are home to the Asia-Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect.
