Daily Schedule Modified for Timberline Mon-Sat

Timberline NYLT Monday - Saturday Modified Schedule
The NYLT syllabus schedule is modified for Timberline NYLT to accommodate a 9 am start on Monday and ending
before lunch on Saturday. Adjustments to the schedule by each course should be limited. It is important to council
together as a staff regarding any adjustments. The Timberline NYLT Commissioner may also be included in the
discussions. Adjustments made in prior courses should not be carried over into this year’s course without a formal
review and decision. The preparation for each course should start with “We are following the syllabus”, not “We
are doing the same thing we did last year.”
One adjustment that is common is to use Daylight Standard Time or “Timberline Time” rather than stay with
Daylight Saving Time during the week. Adjustments like time changes should include consideration of other
courses. All adjustments should avoid conflict if two courses are located near each other.
