A European Armaments Educational and Training Platform - Finding a Common Ground - German Presentation 8 General aim of HRD-LoI nations for EDAM European Defence Acquisition Manager • Create a system of leadership training courses for a European Defence Acquisition Manager (EDAM) out of national Defence Acquisition Managers. • To train them in managing intercultural differences: - in the personal and professional behaviour, - in procurement procedures, - in the decision making process. • Build up an international network of EDAM. • The participants should be officers and civilian equivalent at the level of a LTCol who are foreseen for an international program, working group or assignment.
