The Academic Data Centre helps faculty, staff, and students access, and use statistical and geospatial data. The writing advisors can help with constructing strong theses and arguments, grammar and syntax problems, analyzing and integrating sources, citing and referencing, interpreting assignment prompts. They are not a proofreading service. They will look at up to one complete paragraph The Reference Help Desk helps you with your research needs and can help you use the library, find material, refine searches so that you find more items on your topic – and more! Don’t forget about your subject specialist librarian! They are there to help you! There are several lounge areas for relaxing or group work. There will also be a section for “relaxing reading” Open 8:00am to 2:00am during the week and 10:00 to Midnight on weekends. Open 24 hours during exam time. The Media Centre houses collections of maps, microfiche, microfilm, videos/dvds, CDs, LPs, and cassettes. There is a staff member available from 9:00-5:00 for assistance Computers are available on each floor and tables with outlets are available for those who BYOT.
