King’s College Media Club- Wilkes-Barre PA
Helped to set up cameras, cables lights, and microphones for King’s Idol, a King’s College
football game as well as co-directed a shot and acted in some of the video the club made for the
community service project that aided domestic abuse victims. Another main project was aiding
in filming and directing an “It Gets Better” video on bullying for the Questions and Answers Club.
Fall 2009-Spring 2010
Media Connection- Wilkes-Barre PA
Wrote a feature article in the Fall 2009 issue about Advertising Week in New York City and a
senior spotlight piece for the Spring 2010 issue.

Spring Internship at Bright Life Travel
Duties include making excel spreadsheets, utilizing social media to create campaigns, using
Photoshop to create designs, updating blogs, and researching travel articles and books.

Fall Internship at New Horizons Computer Learning Center
Completed a graphic design/marketing internship that included writing press releases,
contacting media outlets to place releases, writing and designing newsletters using
iContact.com, designing flyers, designing promotional materials, designing sell sheets, helping
with verbiage with a consumer brochure, and other clerical duties.

Future Stars Day Camp- Immaculata, PA
Worked as a camp counselor with children ages ranging from 4 to 13 and was responsible for
leading children to and aiding in a variety of activities every day including swimming, art,
science, sports, games, and computers. Taking role at every activity, preparing cheers and
dances every week as well as helping with the end of camp show by preparing a dance for my
group were part of my job duties.

Preparing, serving and taking inventory of food and drinks, as well as being a cashier at an on
campus dining establishment.

Part of a 12 person house that participates in community service around Wilkes-Barre. Our
mission statement is “Faith, Service, and Diversity” and in order to accomplish that we do
community service like box food at a food bank, helped freshman class move in and decorated
and hosted Hunger 4 Justice dinner to raise awareness of hunger and poverty.

Co-Writing Editor for the Regis
Work as an editor, writer and photographer for the King’s College Yearbook. The responsibilities
include editing and writing articles as well as making deadlines and attending monthly meetings.
September 2010-November 2010
Volunteered at the GOP headquarters in Wilkes-Barre to benefit the campaign of Bill
Goldsworthy, who was running for Pennsylvania state representative of the 120th district.
Duties included passing out flyers at football games, attending debates, and phone banking.
October 2010
Cut-a-thon at Impressa Salon to benefit Candy’s Place
Helped raise money, set up a Facebook event page, designed a thank you sign and attended the
event that donated all the proceeds to a cancer wellness center. This was part of the Principles
of Advertising class.
