• Demonstration home for sustainable living

• Student-run organization

– 3 Live-in Student Co-Directors

– 15-20 Student Employees

PROGRAM HISTORY

• 1978 Founded by students

• 1980 Occupied residential house on campus

• 1981 Became Associated Students Program

• Working towards sustainability for 32 years

• 2004 Relocation

• 2006 Remodeled original house

• 2007 Occupied current permanent site

Co-D Responsibilities

• Experience and knowledge on running non-profits

• Interpreting the mission

• Supervising staff, volunteers, students

• Representing the organization within HSU and beyond

• Doing the dishes at the end of the day
