Reading
Homework Schedule:

Science - Monday and Wednesday

Math – Tuesday and Thursday

Reading – We are starting an
interactive reading log that needs
to be completed nightly (Mon.Fri.). Please make sure to look over
it with your child.

Spelling words should be practiced
nightly
In our 5.1 Class, we are reading Darnell Rock
Reporting, and drawing conclusions about
characters and events by examining clues
from our story.
In our 4.1 Class, we are reading Amazing
Animals, an expository text. We will be
finding main idea and supporting details by
using our text features.
We know becoming a better reader comes
with practice. Share reading time with your
child for at least 30 minutes a day. You will be
amazed how this will help them.
Social Studies
We will be learning about the Great Plains
Indians.
