The position will work in collaboration with the NMHH President, and will report directly (monthly) to the NMHH Board of Directors. The position will be compensated on a monthly basis based on amount designated in agreement, and in accordance with progress made relative to each “project”. Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities This position will report directly to the NMHH Board at the monthly Board meeting. Any requested consultation via NMHH Board outside of regularly scheduled Board meetings will be directed to NMHH Board President. This position will not have a specified number of working hours/week, individual filling this position will work the necessary hours to complete the project(s) defined below by the deadline listed. 1 “Health Dome” (Pre-Feasibility Study) Project Manager will accomplish the following tasks relative to the “Health Dome”: o Project Manager will submit a “Health Dome” Business Plan to the NMHH Board at the January 2014 Board meeting. o Project Manager will submit a profitable “Pro-forma” in addition to the “Health Dome” Business Plan. o Project Manager will report to the NMHH Board and make recommendations on how/why we move forward with the “Health Dome” initiative. o Following the submission of the “Health Dome” Business Plan, Pro-Forma, and the Project Manager making recommendations to the NMHH Board, a vote will be taken as too moving forward with the USDA required feasibility study. In addition to the “Health Dome” tasks listed above, in an effort to ensure NMHH is accomplishing its goals relative to the AED and NEMO RAAWKS initiatives, the Project Manager will also handle the following: o AED Initiative Project Manager will compile a “Master List” of AEDs which will include: Number of devices that have been placed Where they are placed o Project Manager will visually inspect each device and ensure in good working condition Type of AED placed within each “Partner” Organization Contact person(s) o Project Manager will actually meet with each contact person of our “Partner” agencies, answer any questions they may have, and ensure them that NMHH is there for them with any issues relating to the AED they have placed in their facility Battery expiration for each device Pad re-placement date for each device Number/names of individuals trained in CPR/AED per contract o Project Manager will address any re-certification needs and help our “Partner” make any necessary arrangements for renewal course(s) Project Manager will work with AED/CPR Committee Chair relative to any additional issues that would move the AED initiative forward All tasks associated with the AED program will be accomplished no later than February 28, 2014 and Project Manager will submit a report to NMHH Board during February 2014 Board meeting. 2 o NEMO RAAWKS Project Manager will work with NEMO RAAWKS Committee Chair to further define the function of NEMO RAAWKS within NMHH. Project Manager will work with NEMO RAAWKS Committee Chair to develop a marketing strategy and community outreach package that defines and outlines initiative. Submit a “plan” to NMHH Board of Directors that includes specific ways in which NMHH can move the vision of NEMO RAAWKS forward. Definition of NEMO RAAWKS, marketing strategy, community outreach package, and specifics relative to moving NEMO RAAWKS forward will be submitted no later than February 28, 2014 and Project Manager will submit a report to NMHH Board during February 2014 Board meeting. Use the Details, Bulleted List, and/or Numbered List styles as needed.] Project Manager will possess an understanding as to the mission/vision/values of NEMO Heart Health Project Manager will be familiar with the process of creating a Business Plan Project Manager will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Project Manager will possess exceptional communication skills Project Manager will have the ability to accomplish task(s) with minimal supervision and is self-motivated 3 Physical Requirements Work will require some physical effort. Lifting or performing work requiring physical exertion is intermittent and secondary to the job. The job requires sitting for long periods of time, with an occasional need to stoop, kneel or crouch; occasional need to work in confined spaces and unusual positions to perform the tasks necessary to accomplish the project(s) listed above. Environmental Conditions Work is performed under basically normal working conditions as in a standard office environment. Work involves intermittent to occasional exposure to unpleasant working conditions or undesirable elements. An occasional potential for cuts, bruises, muscle strains and exposure to uncomfortable environmental conditions is possible. Mileage will be reimbursed only after submission of appropriate documentation/receipt. NEMO Heart Health will NOT provide “office space” for this position, the individual filling position will need to arrange accommodations. NEMO Heart Health will provide a “laptop” computer to be utilized by the Project Manager, primarily, for business of the Organization. NEMO Heart Health will provide a “technology” reimbursement in an effort to compensate/provide for the use of internet, cell phone, etc… The “technology” reimbursement will be $75/month in addition to the monthly stipend. As previously stated, Project Manager will have a completed “Health Dome” Business Plan available for the NMHH Board members prior to the January 2014 meeting. As previously stated, Project Manager will submit a profitable Pro-forma to the NMHH Board prior to the January 2014 meeting. As previously stated, Project Manager will report to the NMHH Board at the January 2014 Board meeting and give recommendation as to how we (NMHH) move forward with the initiative. Following Project Manager completion of above tasks, NMHH Board will vote on allocating revenue necessary to pursue a Feasibility Study. Project Manager will complete task(s) associated with AED’s as previously defined within this document by February 28, 2014 and will report progress to NMHH Board during the February 2014 meeting. Project Manager will complete task(s) associated with NEMO RAAWKS as previously defined within this document by February 28, 2014 and will report progress to NMHH Board during the February 2014 meeting. This position can be extended or ended at any time, for any length of time at the discretion/authorization of the NMHH Board.
