CAMP-CALIFORNIA.COM CREATES NEW SECTIONS IN SPANISH AND
PORTUGUESE WITH THE HOPE OF ENTICING MORE TRAVELERS TO

experiences for travelers in RVs as well as rental cars because most private
campgrounds now have cabins, yurts and other rental accommodations
AUBURN, Calif., Oct. 5, 2015 — Camp-California.com has created new sections
in Spanish and Portuguese with the hope of enticing more travelers to California’s
privately owned and operated campgrounds.
“We believe we are the first state campground association in the country to offer
specific content in Spanish and Portuguese,” said Debbie Sipe, executive director of the
California Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds, which hosts Camp-California.com.
The new content in Spanish will be helpful in attracting both domestic and foreign
travelers who speak Spanish. Along with the section in Portuguese, the new content
should help raise awareness about the merits of using campgrounds and campground
rental accommodations in trips across California.
“Brazil is a growing source of visitors to the United States, so we thought we
should create a special section in Portuguese,” Sipe said.
The new Spanish and Portuguese sections on Camp-California.com highlight the
fact that travelers no longer need an RV or tent to stay in campgrounds because most
of them now have cabins, yurts or other rental accommodations.
“Campgrounds have been investing in rental accommodations in recent years, so
it is now possible to use campgrounds as ‘base camps’ for trips all over California,” Sipe
said, adding that Camp-California.com is the most comprehensive camping resource
available for people who are looking to discover California’s hidden camping treasures.
Indeed, Camp-California.com is the online counterpart to “Camp-California! The
Camper’s Guide to California,” which won the 2014 State Directory of the Year Award
