 Do Application Problem 8-3 page 223 which is completing the Post-Closing Trial Balance for
Len’s Laundry! (If your debits do not equal your credits, check that your debits = your credits in
your general journal!)
 Print with Gridlines Applications 8-1, 8-2, 8-3 for Len’s Laundry—type your name in one of the
cells—staple to your General Ledger accounts and hand in.
 Do Match-it with your vocabulary cards from Chapter 6 – 8 (14 key terms) BEFORE completing
the vocabulary section on the Study Guide Ch. 8
o Have Mr. Fanta initial and date your answer key to let me know you completed and to
earn daily point grade for practicing them—mark on your answer key the terms you
missed so you know what to look over for Test time over Ch. 8 Next Thursday!

Warm-up activities:
 Practice student’s first name by touch method via home-row keys
o 1st two tries CAN look at fingers; next 3 tries NO looking at fingers—look at the
picture handout of the keyboard or the picture of keyboard on the chalkboard
when you practice your 1st name
 (REMINDER: MIDDLE FINGER “D” Strikes the “C” key—to get middle finger to “c”
stronger “point” pointer finger toward the ceiling so can pivot the middle finger easier
to the bottom row “c” key—introduced it for the 1st time last week)
 (REMEMBER: to use “Pinky” finger Returns)
