Currently, there are over 18 million Mexican Americans living in the United States. Out of all the minorities, Mexican Americans are the fastest growing group. It is predicted that with this growth there will be more political and economic victories to come. FAMILY The Mexican American family is one that is full of tradition and history. They have deep rooted cultural standards that have been around for centuries, and though they have had to recently adapt some of their values to the American society, they have mainly stayed intact. In the Mexican Culture their music generally is all traditional music that has came from a lot of the history that has happened their.
