Meeting Discussion –

1. Orgsync.com – Melody Wiggins explained that Orgsync is a way for students to record extracurricular events to show up on their Waketech transcript, which is very important to universities that you want to transfer to. She led the discussion by having everyone log in to Orgsync.com using their Waketech ID and password. Then, she had everyone record an event like today’s meeting. She said she was always available for help at her e-mail mcwiggins1@waketech.edu

.

2. Volunteers were requested to help run the Engineering competition on Saturday, 8 am – 2 pm. Dec 5.

Students who are not presently taking EGR-150 are eligible to help. Thanks to Lana Yafremava, Kyle

Nottingham, and Dijon Moona-Cready for volunteering.

3. Mr. Hulette announced that the NASA sponsored Balloon project that we were not awarded, had been resurrected by Richard W. Sullins, M.A.Ed., Dean of Sponsored Programs at Wake Tech. He intends to get funding for the project to continue next year. We will be looking for three volunteers to work with three volunteers from the Main campus engineering club to work on the project next year. This will be high profile project and require serious commitment by the volunteers.
