The purpose of this memo is to present a job opportunity I would like to apply for in the
future after I graduate with my masters. All of the information in this assignment is made
up, but shows how I would go about getting a professional job in once I have graduated.
Summary
In my resume and job letter I will convince them that this is the perfect job for me. I will
do this by not only showing them that I am well educated and certified in the filed they
are seeking an employee, but I also have the experience they are looking for and only
need a job for a short period of time before I leave the country!
Description
The organization I will be applying to requires qualified health professionals who are
looking for temporary assignments. To start off my goal of landing this Med Travelers
job, I am going to send them a job letter explaining why this job is perfect for me! In it I
will explain how I am leaving the country sometime in the near future to take a year off
to go travel the world. It will explain how I have been looking for a job to make some
extra money to take on my trip but haven’t been successful in finding one because they
require a long-term commitment. I will let them know that I will not leave them until my
work is finished however. In this job letter I will also make it clear that I have to
education and experience needed for a job like this. Another thing I will send is my
resume. My resume will tell them, in detail, all about my education and experiences in
the speech field. It will show that I am the perfect applicant to fill this job! In the resume,
I will tell them that I received my bachelors from Texas Tech University Health Sciences
Center and my masters from University of North Texas. I will then proceed to tell them
that I have work experience from RehabCare, and I have clinical experience from
