List the words in ABC order.
List the words in REVERSE ABC order.
Write all of your words using something other than pencil.
Have an adult give you a practice test at home. Then have the adult
check and sign your work.
5. Write each word once making the consonants blue and the vowels red.
6. Write a sentence for each of the words.
7. Find, cut, and glue letters on another piece of paper from magazines,
newspapers, etc. to spell your words (Ransom words).
8. Write each word using rainbow colors.

10. Write each word on 2 index cards. Play Memory Match! (Please hand in
the cards)
11. Use all of your words in a friendly letter to someone. Underline each
word.
12. Use all of your words in a short story or paragraph. Underline each
word.
13. Make and complete a word search on www.puzzlemaker.com
14. Write a song or rap using all of your words. Underline each word.
15. Write all of your words using bubble letters.
16. Write all of your words using funky, spooky, or fun looking letters.
17. Type each of your spelling words. Print it out!
18. Take a spelling quiz on www.spellingcity.com (directions are on my
website under “Fun Websites,” and “Spelling.”) Print it out!
19. Write each word 3 times. Use a different color each time you write
the same word.
20. Pyramid write your words! For example:

21. Use all of your words in just FIVE SILLY sentences.
22. Write your spelling words from shortest to longest.
23. Find a way to sort your words. For example, by number of syllables,
vowel patterns, beginning sounds, etc. List your words according to
the way you sorted them. Label the sorts/categories!
24. Write your spelling words in dots. Then connect the dots with a
colored pencil, marker, or crayon.
25. Write your words in grid boxes. Outline the shape of each word with
a marker.
