The NETWORK MARKETING HISTORY:
1934 DR. CARL REHNBORG
started CALIFORNIA VITAMINS
CORPORATION and was the first company
who sold food supplements. He
contracted peddlers or direct sellers for
his products. 1939, Dr. Rehnborg changed
the company name to NUTRILIFE.
In 1945
NUTRILIFE introduced the first
documented MLM PLAN; that allowed
sales people not only to sell, but to
recruit and train his own group of sellers.
THIS PLAN GAVE PEOPLE AN OPPORTUNITY TO BUILD
A HUGE ORGANIZATION AND EARN A FORTUNE
EVEN WITHOUT A COMPANY OF HIS OWN.

JAY VAN ANDEL and
RICH DEVOS, got out of the
military. Without any relevant
work or business experience,
they joined NUTRILIFE and in
a few years, they became
millionaires.
1959
ANDEL and DEVOS
broke away from NUTRILIFE
and established their own
company and named it
AMERICAN WAY commonly
known as AMWAY.
THE MLM/Networking INDUSTRY changed the course of
history and the lives of countless people around the world.
There are many ways to describe network marketing.
- People often think that network marketing is the same as direct selling.
Baligya2x. Partly correct, 5-10% selling.
- Sometimes, people think it’s all about recruiting people. Pyramiding. Partly
correct, but people who focus all their efforts on recruitment without
understanding the ultimate goal will eventually get frustrated.
Network marketing is not all about recruiting, and selling the products. You
need to understand the SYSTEM / Marketing Plan. So what is the best way to
describe network marketing? What is the ultimate goal in network marketing?
To succeed in this business, you should understand that network marketing is
EXPONENTIAL GROWTH! If you will look at people who are long term
millionaires, most if not all of them understand the power of EXPONENTIAL
GROWTH or COMPOUNDING INTEREST. Their wealth just keeps on growing
exponentially because of compounding interest. Believe it or not we use the
same principles and strategy in network marketing. The four (4) Principles we
will discuss will prove this point. So, how to create exponential growth in
network marketing? If you open yourself into believing on these principles and
apply them to your Precious Dia business, it will just be a matter of time before
you achieve financial and time freedom in Precious Dia business.
1st Principle: P1,000,000.00 vs. 5 cents
If you are to start a business and choose between P1M or 5 cents as your start up
capital investment, anyone in their right mind would opt for the P1M investment.
However, I submit to you that network marketing is like starting a business with 5
cents. In the beginning, it really looks unattractive.
When you start facing obstacles in network marketing, people quit easily simply
because they have nothing to loose as compared to a traditional business with a
P1M investment. In a traditional business with huge capital, it will take 5 years to
break-even or you could even lost the money entirely. But if you look at this 1st
principle and know it by heart, you will see that 5 cents will go a long way compared
to the P1M. In network marketing, we simply teach people how they can duplicate 5
cents. If they can do this in one day, the 5 cents would be 10 cents the next day. To
create wealth by duplicating 5 cents everyday will seem to take eternity! This is why
people quit too soon! They feel that they are wasting their time and effort doing
network marketing. Let’s duplicate 5 cents everyday for just one month (31 days) and
see how big your business will be compared to P1M.

You’re probably shocked to find out that 5 cents doubling
daily would be P53,687,091.20 in just 31 days! Notice that in
the first week, your 5 cents was only P3.20, this is why
people give up too soon in network marketing. They don’t
stay long enough to experience the exponential growth. As
you start your business with PRECIOUS DIA, you must make
a decision to do this business for the next 2 to 3 years! Most
people find success in more or less 2 year to 3 years. Some
people grow faster than the other but everyone who sticks
long enough with this business and treat it like a career will
eventually find financial freedom with PRECIOUS DIA
business.
2nd Principle: One (1) Distributor a month
If you duplicate yourself to one person a month for just 12 months or 1 year, you
have personally duplicated yourself to 12 people. But if you duplicated yourself
properly to the 12 people, you would end up with 4,096 distributors! (Assumption:
4,096 distributors entry and 1 bottle repeat purchase).

3rd Principle: Six months Principle
We stress that every distributor must commit a minimum of 6 months in the
business whether or not he sees any result. When someone starts a traditional
business with a huge capital investment, they always see the long term Return Of
Investment (ROI).
It will usually take 3-5 years to break even and earn profits. At times, they can even
loose the business and end up at a loss because of the RISK involved. But in any
business, anyone who starts will always be committed long term. Why shouldn’t it
be the same with network marketing?
If in a traditional business you could be breaking even in 3 years, what is the
potential of 3 years of network marketing? This principle show you the power of
network marketing if you put the same time, effort and commitment as you would
put in a traditional business.
Let’s just say that at worst it would take six months for a distributor to duplicate
himself to 4 people.

4th Principle: Three (3) Levels Deep Principle
So many people make the mistake of just focusing on recruiting, recruiting and
recruiting without understanding the need to teach and train and duplicate in order to
create exponential growth. Recruiting and sponsoring is just part of the whole
business cycle.
In the process of recruiting people, you must be able to find people who are FAT (Faith,
Available, Teachable). You will then have to go three levels deep. You must teach them
how to teach others to sponsor people. Then it can grow non-stop! Remember that in
network marketing, SLOW IS FAST!. You must invest time to teach and train your
downlines to be able to duplicate these principles in them. There are four (4) things
you need to duplicate.

They must learn the PRECIOUS DIA system. They must learn everything they need to know
about marketing plan of PRECIOUS DIA business. The faster you learn the marketing plan
the faster your organization will grow.
They must learn how to move and use products regularly thru a regular customer base and
servicing products to their downlines.
They must continually improve on themselves thru regular company trainings, motivational
books and tapes, personal development, presentation skills etc. Make sure your downlines
atend all regular company and group trainings and activities.

don’t entertain other people pass and thru in the office. Focus on the presentation, support your
upline by listening with your guest/s so that your guest/s will also pay attention to the presentation.
Learn very fast, sooner you will be doing what your upline is doing now. (A.K.N.Y.). Don’t leave
your guest/s after the presentation, be a responsible upline.
A.B.C. RULE:

 Situation: The BRIDGE will introduce his/her CLIENT to you
TO DO: 1. Wear your smile… Extend your hand, handshake to
