Coaches assist students by holding academically oriented meetings on a bi-weekly basis to improve students’ retention and success. Coaches assist students with individualized action plans focused on, but not limited to, time management, goal setting, study skills, pragmatic approaches, and personal barriers to success. Coaches assist students with technological tools, such as Ecourseware, UM Degree and Degree Compass that promote course completion. Year 2 - Expanded to a larger population of first-generation and Pell-eligible students. Year 3 - Decentralization.
