2014 Miss Warrior Princess Pageant

Important Information:
Rehearsal – Friday, April 11, 2014 at 4:00 PM, at North Cobb High School Auditorium. All
contestants should be present for rehearsal and on time. Rehearsal will last from 4:00 to 6:30.
You will practice your walk, opening number, see your dressing area, and receive your official
2014 Warrior Princess T-Shirt.
Pageant Day – Doors to the Auditorium will be opened at 5:30 p.m. You are welcome to come
to the auditorium to dress and prepare for the pageant. You must be dressed for opening
number and lined up at 6:45 p.m.
Back Stage Chaperone – One person will be allowed back stage to help a contestant dress.
Contestants must provide their own extension cords, curling irons etc. It is recommended that
you bring a mirror as well to use as you are getting dressed.
Admission – Admission to the pageant is $5. Each contestant will receive 10 guest passes and 1
back stage chaperone pass at rehearsal.
Sponsorships – Each contestant’s sponsorship fee is $65.00. Your sponsor’s or sponsors’
names will appear in the souvenir program booklet. Please make all checks payable to North
Cobb High School.
Scoring – Each competition will be judged on a scale of 1-25.
Opening Number – Contestants will participate in the opening number wearing the official
pageant T-Shirt, a pair of skinny leg jeans, and white sneakers. During the opening number,
contestants will introduce themselves saying their name, grade and/or class (2013 etc), and
contestant number.
Areas of Competition (Mandatory):
Casual Wear Competition – Casual wear should be age appropriate, dressy, neat, and stylish.
Contestants should choose something fun, yet tasteful. This outfit should be something that
you would wear out on a dressy night with friends. Show personality. An award will be given for
the contestant with the best sportswear score. The casual wear score will count for 1/3 of the
total score.
Formal Wear Competition – Contestants should choose a floor length gown that is age
appropriate. Dresses can be strapless but must be tasteful and provide the necessary
“coverage”. An award will be given for the contestant with the best dress score (judged solely
on the dress itself). The formal wear score will count for 1/3 of the total score.
On Stage Question-Each contestant will be asked an onstage question during the formal wear
competition. Questions will be taken from a pool of possible high school pageant questions
ranging from teen age issues, current events, historical issues, etc. Contestants will be given a
list of possible questions on rehearsal day. The onstage question will count for 1/3 of the
contestant’s preliminary score.
Other Areas of Competition:
Photogenic – Contestants can submit a 5x7 or 8x10 black and white or color picture to be
judged immediately following interview for the Photogenic Competition. Pictures should be
submitted in a clear sheet protector. The Photogenic winner will receive an award at the
pageant. This does not count towards the title of Miss Warrior Princess.
Congeniality---All contestants will vote on the one girl who is easy to get along with; sociable;
and friendly and helpful throughout the entire pageant process. This area of competition does
not count towards the title of Miss Warrior Princess.
Talent – Participation in the talent competition is OPTIONAL. Contestants choosing to compete
in talent will have their lowest mandatory score dropped and replaced with their talent score if
their talent score is higher than one of the mandatory competition scores (interview, casual
wear, or formal wear). The contestant with the highest talent score will receive an award at the
pageant. Talent time cannot exceed 2 ½ minutes. You must turn in a CD with your music on it
the day of rehearsal.

Contestants must be in good academic standing with North Cobb High School and
have regular attendance. We, the contestant and parents/guardian of the
contestants, do hereby release the directors and its staff from all claims for
damages/injuries/or accidents directly or indirectly resulting from participating in
the 2014 Miss Warrior Princess Pageant. Winners must fulfill their duties and will
abide by all rules and regulations and conduct themselves in a manner
representing good sportsmanship. Any winner that cannot abide by the rules and
regulations set forth will be asked to relinquish their title within ten days. We
reserve the right to disqualify any contestant or refuse entry to anyone in this
pageant for poor sportsmanship, poor school conduct, rule violations or not
honoring their title. The sponsorship fees are not refundable.
