You do not get extra time if you arrive late. After 30 minutes you can be refused entry. Place Make sure you know where the examination is taking place. It can change if student numbers change or the venue is unavailable (for example a burst pipe) What to wear You must NOT have any pockets above waist height. ID Card You will need to place your ID card on the desk – some invigilators do not know who you are. You can be asked to leave if an invigilator believes you are not the correct person sitting an exam. Pencil Cases If you use a pencil case it must be clear. Otherwise remove what you need and leave the pencil case in your bag or down by your chair Drink You may only bring a drink in a totally clear bottle Mobile Phones The exam rules now say don’t bring them at all.
