I am looking for an opportunity to work
as an electrical engineer, or whatever position
which commensurate with my qualifications, in
an industrialized business environment where I can utilize my knowledge and expertise.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATION
I am a registered electrical engineer and a graduate of Mindanao State University –
Main Campus. I have more than 2 years of accumulated work experience working as a cadet
engineer while studying, and as an electrical design engineer in a private engineering
construction company in Southern Philippines, after graduating. I have also worked as a
College Mathematics instructor in one of the institutions in Mindanao for 8 months.
Recently, I was connected with Modern Electric Contracting Establishment, a MEP
contractor, based in Jeddah, KSA as a design engineer. I am confident of the knowledge that
I have in terms of the theories and principles an electrical engineer is expected to know. I
have robust knowledge and experience in preparing building electrical load calculations,
computer drafting of building wiring layouts, and in preparing engineering line calculations
and design for distributions systems. I am computer literate and a proficient Autocad design
software user. I am highly trainable.

 Ensures electrical safety at construction site, i.e. sees to it that temporary wirings
are properly protected from personnel and falling debris and that personnel are
protected from temporary wirings
 Ensures temporary wirings observe safety standards
 Interprets single line diagrams and make shop drafts for the electrical division






Interprets electrical calculations and design drawings and checks if in accordance
with accepted electrical codes and on safety and convenience standards
Prepares electrical designs and calculations for closed-out design-and-build
projects
Schedules, plans, and assigns electrical works and ensures allocated time frames
are observed
Checks the output of the electrical division personnel doing electrical activities
and ensures that the works are installed as specified in the printed plan
Makes sure that electrical loops for individual building circuits and other
installations are tested and signed-off by the client or consultant or any
representative prior to connection with a permanent supply
If variations on the electrical installations are inevitable, makes manually drawn
or computer aided electrical sketches and communicates with the project
consultant for approval
