What’s Happening?
1. Summer Time Is Here: What does that mean? That means HOT, HOT, &
HOT. This is the dry season in Belize and our house can get up to 100 degrees
inside. So lots of fluids and trips to the river to cool off.
2. Praise Report: We received our Permanent Residency. This means we can
come and go as we please. Our departure taxes are cheaper and
we do not ever have to renew our visas or fill out tons of paper
work for a work visa. Thank you so much for your prayers.
3. PlusTV: Over the Easter Holidays, I had the privilege of
being on a panel of pastors that answered questions from call
in on PlusTV’s morning show called, Rise and Shine.
4. The Passion Of The Christ: LifeNet showed the movie, The
Passion of The Christ on Good Friday. It was a powerful time
and had many visitors come.
5. Palm Sunday: On Palm Sunday, we had the largest Sunday
Celebration attendance for the church with 101 in attendance.
6. Easter Sunday: I ministered a message called, You’re
Beautiful. It was such a great time of ministry with the
church.
7. Salvations: We are averaging about 3 salvations every
month. It is so cool to see these young Believers get
plugged into the body and begin to grow and thrive
in the Lord.
8. Drums: Last Sunday was our first Sunday with drums as
a part of our worship team. It added such a huge dimension to our worship.
The church seemed to enter in deeper into the presence of the Lord.
9. NET Groups: We officially launched our NET Groups. We have one on
Monday, Tuesday, and 6 on Thursday. NET Groups are our small groups
that meet in homes to reach our neighbors, disciple new Believers and
raise up new leaders. They are all doing so well. Hope to birth 2 more in the
coming months.
10. LLT: We are beginning a new Life Leadership Training
(LLT) group. This will equip another 10 leaders to
prepare them to lead a new NET Group.
11. TEAMS: We have 2 teams in June, 1 team in July & 1 in
November coming. Pray that as they come, God will use
them to impact the people of Belmopan. We love having
teams come, they are such a huge blessing to the ministry, but also, they are
a huge blessing to our family.
12. EIGHT YEARS: Foursquare celebrated 8 years in the nation of Belize.
Currently there are 4 churches. Our long term goal at LifeNet is to raise up
Leaders to send them out & plant churches throughout Belize. So please keep
this in prayer. We have a lot of work to be done. One of the first steps for us
is to buy land and build of facility in Belmopan for LifeNet.

13. MINISTRY VAN: We finally got a second van for the ministry. It’s a
1999 Mitsubishi L300. The van was previously owned by a resort that
wore it out. So we have been refurbishing it. I was hoping to get a before
and after pic of it, but for now, you see the before. Hopefully next month
I will show you the finished product. It is so greatly needed. There are
people who want to come to Sunday Celebration and or our NET Group
that I just do not have the room to go pick them up. With two vans, we
will run both simultaneously and pic up as many as 30 people on a Sunday.
14. PlusTV Devotionals: I had the privilege of sharing 5 days of morning
devotions on PlusTV.
15. Video: Check out this video. It is Paul Otremba sharing about missions
In Central America. He mentions our work in Belmopan.
Enjoy: http://vimeo.com/40255293. We were so blessed to have Paul
minister at LifeNet in April.
16. WATER OUTREACH: On the Saturday before Easter we had an
awesome Water Outreach. We gathered at a nearby speed bump along
the main road called the Ring Road. We passed out over 400 bottled
waters and 150 shilling waters (a shilling water is a small water pouch
costing .25 or a shilling). Each bottle came with a message of the love of
Jesus and an invitation to LifeNet. We had such a great time.
17. NEW BABIES: LifeNet has lots of babies. Here is the newest one.
18. ERIKA: Holding an Easter rabbit
19. STORMI: Blessed with a dog house.
20. OUTREACH BENCHES: LifeNet wants to be
a blessing to the community. One way we are
doing this is by partnering with a ministry that
teaches young men carpentry skills. We are
having them build several benches. We will
have a sign branded into the back that says:
“Donated by LifeNet”, and then we will go out
and bless the government buildings in the area. The government buildings
often have long lines with nowhere to sit. We are being a blessing to the people
as well as serving the community. Just another way to serve here.
21. FAMILY COMING FROM MAYA MOPAN: I am very excited to tell you that
a couple of families from Maya Mopan have been attending LifeNet. We built
a home back there and hope to build many more. The home was built for a
mother and her children. Well, two of the women’s adult children are coming
to LifeNet and bringing their family with them. One accepted the Lord on
Easter Sunday.
22. On a fun fact: I was in a local commercial for Dutch Lady Milk – check it out: http://youtu.be/976k8-U10Y4

24. RANDOM PICTURES OF GREAT FRIENDS AND PARTNERS IN MINISTRY: TOP LEFT TO RIGHT:
Dale & Carolyn (kids Tirzah and Levi, somehow Erika got into their picture) they are our worship leaders.
NEXT: Erika and Amerie selling bunnies before Easter. NEXT: All sisters (Keisha, Samantha & Resheeda
with her baby Cloe) NEXT: Erwin and Sherl at our Easter service. Amerie is their little girl. BOTTOM LEFT
TO RIGHT: Erika was so blessed by a church in Connecticut – they sent her down all kinds of books for her
to enjoy. Belize does not have a huge selection to buy and the ones they have can be very expensive. So
this was a huge blessing. NEXT: Sara (a YWAM missionary) enjoying a relaxing day with her new baby
Eden. NEXT: The day after Easter was a holiday, so we gathered up some church friends and headed to
the river. A very nice relaxing day with great friends. You need to remember to wear swim shoes to the
river, the rocks cut my feet….OUCH!!

Budget Update:
For missionaries supported by churches and individuals, rather than through an agency, the fundraising aspect
is a monthly endeavor. Sometimes peoples and even the church’s finances change and they need to reduce
their amount or stop all together. So seeking new partners who will not simply send a check, but will intercede
for us and even join us on short term teams is a continual process. In February I shared that we were under
budget, but in March we made budget. Realize that our budget is far more than taking care of our family’s
expenditures. Our budget is broken down with ministry expenses and family expenses. Pray for us to continue
to raise up partners who will invest their time, prayers and support into what God is doing in Belize. Your
willingness to invest in what God is doing here allows us to serve this wonderful nation and people.
