Mr. Trzepinska World Cultures Enriched Southeast Asia Research Project – 100 points Southeast Asia is filled with rich history. Below is a list of topics you will research and make either a Google Presentation or a Prezi expressing the beliefs, practices, and lifestyles of your topic. Your project must answer the following research questions: 1. Why is this topic important in Southeast Asia? (Past or present) 2. What role does/did this topic play in Southeast Asia’s life, culture, and military? 3. How did this affect South East history today? 4. The 5 W’s (Who, What, Where, When, Why) and How. Ancient China - The Great Wall of China - Genghis Khan/The Mongols - Marco Polo Ancient Korean Dynasties ( Koguryo Kingdom, Paekche Kingdom, Silla Kingdom) Ancient Japan - Heian Japan - Feudal Japan - Samurai Presentation- 50 points ALL group members must present Presentation must be 3-5 minutes in length Google Presentation or Prezi At least 5 Sources in MLA Format Participation- 25points Each member of the group will use their time wisely while researching their topic. Each member in the group will do individual research on one or more questions provided. Research Outline- 25 points Each group will have an outline listing the research found Research at least 5 resources Outline will consist of bullet points or phrase answering the specific questions given Outline is a shared Google Doc and all group members participate in the creation Each group member will have a job in the group, if you are found not doing your job, your grade will be lowered.
