Starting January 1, 2016, City employees will see upgraded benefits and reduced premiums. During the open enrollment period, City employees may do the following: Transfer between health plans. Change the type of health plan. Add/Remove dependents and/or domestic partners. Start or continue flex spending. Review/Update Beneficiaries. Open Enrollment Benefits Fairs The City will be hosting three benefit fairs. Representatives from all benefit providers will be available to answer your specific questions. Elimination $15 co-pay plan that will help employees avoid paying the Cadillac Tax on high premium medical coverage. What’s New 2016 - Dental Delta Dental’s PPO plan will offer: Reduced premium from $53.16 to $51.41 (3.29%). New! Orthodontia, with a $1500.00 lifetime maximum cost. New! Implants, 75% paid by Delta Dental Note: The annual maximum is $2,500 for all dental work. What’s New 2016 – Vision Vision Service Plan will offer: Basic Plan: reduced co-pay from: $25 to $20, $175 for frames or $150 for contact lenses. New! Enhanced plan: $20 co-pay that will offer $200 for frames and contact.
