Work exposure to blood and body fluids
• UCL staff working with human blood or body fluids should:
 Complete risk assessment with their manager
 Contact OHS to arrange an appointment/consultation to
check Immunisations status
• Safe control measures should be in place to reduce the risk
accidental exposure
• OHS provides vaccination against Hep B virus and confirm the
immunity response following vaccination for all staff who is at risk of
exposure due to the nature of their work.
