MEP Coordinator

Milhouse Engineering & Construction, Inc. is an Engineering & Architecture professional full service consulting firm offering a
full spectrum of engineering design services including civil, construction, electrical, environmental, mechanical, structural as
well as construction management services and complementary architectural services. These services are provided across multiple
markets including but not limited to Aviation, Construction, Education, Energy, Healthcare, Transportation and Water
Waste/Water.
We are looking for a professional who is able to perform mid to high level complexity construction management and/or project
management on a large variety of projects while acting as lead or support resource for prime and sub consultant work under the
direction of client or Milhouse Engineering management. Typical work includes HVAC plumbing systems, piping systems
installation of apparatus such as ductwork, boilers and chillers, sprinklers system layout, underground utilities and building
automation systems. Laboratory Construction experience is highly desirable.
Duties Include but are not limited to:

Heavy construction administration experience in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems;

Ability to manage subcontractors;

Familiar with submittal processing;

Laboratory experience

Commissioning and start-up experience;

Budget and scope management;

Estimating experience;

Manage mid to large size projects to schedule and budget;

Keep Milhouse Engineering management advised of all quality, schedule and budget variances in a timely manner;

Manage subordinate or other discipline resources to quality, schedule and budget requirements;

Shop drawing review and disposition;

Prepare project documents and reports;

Maintain project files;

Create and enforce project quality plan;

Data and document entry into various platforms;

Report safety, health and quality issues to management;

Prepare contract amendments, change order documentation, and claims documentation;

Assist management as directed;

Revit and Navisworks experience a plus;

Experience in resolving MEP clashes.
Minimal Education and Experience plus KSAs

Four year technical degree from an ABET accredited institution preferred, or equivalent experience as construction
project manager on MEP projects;

Value engineering and LEED experience preferred;

Five years of relevant experience;

Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel as well as ACAD or MicroStation;

Knowledge of applicable codes and standards;
 Knowledge of CPM schedule analysis a plus.
