Project Area Monthly Report
Narrative Form
The Pennsylvania Department of Education Migrant Education Program has committed itself to an
ongoing, comprehensive program evaluation process, both for complying with program
requirements and reporting as well as for using evaluation findings for continuous program
improvement in order to best serve migrant students and their families. There are a number of
elements included in this statewide evaluation, many of which are student-focused and collected
through the MIS2000 database. However, program implementation information is equally
important so that the program leadership and evaluators understand what is happening at the project
area level. This information provides context to other findings and is also used to fulfill reporting
and program requirements.
Submit ONE REPORT of each type per month, per project area. This may mean you have to copy
and paste information from multiple sites into one file.
SUBMISSION: Each month, for each project area, the following must be completed and
submitted.
1. MEP Project Area Monthly Report Narrative Form
2. MEP Project Area Monthly Professional Development Report
3. PAC Monthly Report (Parent Coordinators complete this)
Email monthly reports to your designated Technical Assistance staff (see below) AND yydata@aiu3.net.

Evaluators will be examining data for the state and each project area, including the following items.
Project areas do not need to provide such information in this report.
 MIS2000 student demographics, needs assessment, graduation, drop-out, and student receipt
of services data.
 Student assessment data (i.e. DIBELS, 4Sight, PSSA) from students' home districts
 MEP summer DIBELS data
 Parent Involvement & PAC – Parent Coordinators will be submitting monthly parent
involvement information using a separate tool.
