FSU Panama City Achievement Center ODL Proctored Exam Policies Scheduling and Re-scheduling Exams 1. All exams must be scheduled. No walk-ins will be seated for testing. 2. All exams must be scheduled NO LESS THAN one week prior to the opening of the testing window established by the instructor. 3. If an exam needs to be re-scheduled and the new testing date and time are within the testing window, 48 hours notice is required but new testing date and time cannot be guaranteed. 4. If an exam needs to be re-scheduled and the new testing date and time fall OUTSIDE of the testing window, students are required to FIRST, contact their instructor, and SECOND be sure to re-schedule for a time when testing is offered. To be sure that rescheduled tests don't conflict with regularly scheduled testing we ask that tests be rescheduled a week in advance of the new testing date and time. Identification Requirements 1. Students must present a valid FSU ID card with a clear photo. 2. NO OTHER FORM OF ID WILL BE ACCEPTED (i.e. FL Driver's License, SSN, Blackboard user ID). 3. Students must be checked in and seated no less than 10 minutes PRIOR to the scheduled START time. Seating times are strictly enforced; students who arrive after the last seating time will be asked to contact the instructor to reschedule the test. 4. Any student who leaves the testing center to retrieve an FSU ID card or to obtain a new card must return in time to be seated by the cutoff time. 5. A report will be sent to the instructor and may result in academic and/or legal repercussions. Exam Materials 1. Examinees may not bring loose papers (study guides, notes, or blank paper) into the testing room. Instructors may allow the use of scratch paper. 2. If any other materials are allowed, such as reference sheets or white boards, the policy regarding them will be set forth. However, please note that the Testing Center will not provide calculators for any exams. If a calculator is allowed for a state or national exam, it should be the on-screen calculator. If a calculator is allowed in an FSU course exam, the student must bring his/her own. 3. Students will exhibit proper decorum when using the Testing Center facilities. Violations of the following rules may result in the expulsion from the Testing Center for the remainder of the semester. 4. Talking is not permitted in the testing room unless it is with a proctor. 5. Leaving the testing room with any test content (questions, directions, etc.) or with any student responses is strictly prohibited. FSU Panama City Achievement Center ODL Proctored Exam Policies 6.
