Lilith (Hebrew: ‫לילית‬Lilit; Arabic: ‫ليليث‬Līlīt) is a female
Mesopotamian storm demon associated with wind and was
thought to be a bearer of disease, illness, and death.

The figure of Lilith first appeared in a class of wind and storm
demons or spirits as Lilitu, Many scholars place the origin of the
phonetic name "Lilith" at somewhere around 700 BC despite postdating even to the time of Moses.[1]

Lilith appears as a night demon in Jewish lore and as a

SONG TO INANNA ISHTAR

Hail Queen of Heaven and Earth,
Come, my messenger Isimud, listen to me!
I will tell you some words, listen to them!
The Virgin has all alone,
Directed her steps towards Abzu.
Inanna has all alone,
Directed her steps towards Abzu.
Let the Virgin step into Abzu at Eridu.
Let the Virgin step into Abzu at Eridu.
Give her to eat a corn-cake with butter.
Pour to her cold water, which freshen her heart.
Give to her a drink of beer in the face of the Leo,
at the holy table, Table of Heaven
Make a welcome to Inanna.

Inanna is the ancient Sumerian goddess of love,
procreation, and of war who later, became identified
with the Akkadian goddess Ishtar, and further with
the Phoenician Astarte and the Greek Aphrodite,
among others. She was also seen as the bright star of
the morning and evening, Venus.

He bites his girlfriend on or around her shoulder to ensure the marks
remain hidden. The teen said he draws no blood but knows of others who
do.
"I think a lot of people draw blood because they want to feel very
powerful, when you bite the other person you get the huge
adrenaline rush and it feels like you can't stop and
some people just take it too far," he added.
"It gets to that whole obsessive, compulsive, overwhelming teen
sexuality, which is, 'We have all these new feelings, we don't know how to
control them, we don't know how to make sense of them.' And for some
reason, because it's on the screen, because it seems powerful and sexual,
we want to mimic it.
 Babylonian
texts depict Lilith as the
prostitute of the goddess Ishtar. Similarly,
older Sumerian accounts assert that Lilitu is
Inanna
called the handmaiden of
or
"hand of Inanna." The Sumerian texts state
that "Inanna has sent the beautiful,
unmarried, and seductive prostitute Lilitu
out into the fields and streets in order to
lead men astray." That is why Lilitu is called
the "hand of Inanna

Her daughters the lilim haunted men for over
a thousand years. It was well into that Middle
Ages that Jews still manufactured amulets to
keep away the lilim. Supposedly they were
lusty she-demons who copulated with men in
all their dreams, causing nocturnal emissions.
The Greeks adopted the belief of the lilim, or
Daughters of Hecate. Likewise the Christians
adopted the belief, calling them harlots of
hell, or succubi, the counterpart “Female”of
the incubi.
Celebrant monks attempted to fend them off
by sleeping with their hands over their
genitals, clutching a crucifix.
