CARABAO PARK
The Carabao Park was a tribute to the first
UPLB college, the College of Agriculture.
UPLB is known for in the field of agriculture.
OBLATION
The Oblation is a symbolic of gesture sacrificial
offering of service to the country and humanity and
has become a major landmark in every UP campus.
The Oblation is also a major rallying point for all kinds
of dissent, protest actions and social criticism as well
as expression of public service, nationalism and
patriotism. It is the enduring symbol of the UP
campuses' unity in mission, vision and tradition.

CARILLON
The Carillon is believed to exemplify the 'alumni spirit' and
the UPLB's oneness with all UP campuses and with other
universities emphasizing culture and arts. The height
depicts the yearnings of the Filipino youth. Spaces along
the inflexible structure embodies the aura of academic
freedom encouraged in the academe.
BAKER MEMORIAL HALL
The building serves as the present gymnasium
for sports activities in the university. It was
named in honor of the second dean of UPCA,
Dr. Charles Baker. Charles Baker started to
build up the capability of UPLB for extension
activities. This building became a guerilla
headquarters during the Second World War.

MAKILING BOTANICAL GARDENS
MBG is a unit of the Makiling Center for Mountain EcoSystems, College of
Forestry and Natural Resources. MBG occupies 300 has. of forest land
distributed into three main sections, the arboretum, nursery, and
recreational areas. There are 1,060 general, 2,087,150 varieties, 2
culvinators of flowering plants and ferns representing 209 families in Mount
Makiling. An exhibit of Philippine wildlife in a diorama setting can be
viewed at the pavilion. Mini waterfalls, gurgling creeks, natural swimming
pools, concrete trails, and nature trails are attractions at the MBG.

NATIONAL ARTS CENTER
Established in 1976 as a haven for young and aspiring
artists, the National Arts Center (NAC) is tucked away in
mythical Mt. Makiling, Laguna. Its various buildings and
facilities are scattered over 13.5 hectares of the Makiling
Forest Reservation and also houses the Philippine High
School for the Arts, a government-run secondary
educational institution for gifted young artists.

DAMPALIT FALLS
Going from Los Baños towards Calamba, after you pass Bayan on your
right and the PCARRD shortcut on your left, the road turns left and then,
after a few hundred meters, right. Immediately after the right curve
there´s a small road with silvercolored pennants hanging over the
entrance on the left. Go as far as you can go on this road and them take
a short walk along the creek to the falls. Parking is Php 15, Entrance is
Php 20 and a hut, if you like one, is Php 350.
DALAMPASIGAN RESTAURANT
Dalampasigan is a small hut restaurant built right on the shore behind
the municipal hall of Los Baños, with half of the dining hall extending
about 10 meters to the water. In here, a great view of the lake makes it
a very pleasant meal for anyone, specially with the delicious native
cuisines in the menu.

Itinerary: UGU Bigyan Pottery, Liliw (bags, shoes & other accessoriesFilipino made), Paete (hand-carved wood products)
Augusto "Ugu" Bigyan is a ceramics artist. Ugu produces dinnerware sets,
decorative tiles and accent pieces for finishing walls and flooring. He enjoys great
patronage from well-known individuals, up-scale hotels and posh resorts such as
Amanpulo, Campo Travieza, Casa Patricia, El Nido, Hidden Valley and Villa
Escudero.
Aside from artistically displayed clayware, Ugu's workshop/showcase offers quaint huts
with which one can relax and leisurely enjoy a lush garden trimmed with terracotta
chimes, fountains and koi ponds. Meals are served but must be arranged in advance.
LILIW is perhaps best known for its cold water spring resorts, native
homemade sweets and a sizeable shoe shoe industry. The footwear
industry in this part of the province is a sought-after attraction especially by
local tourists. Liliw is now known as the "Footwear Capital of Laguna" and
people all over Metro Manila are going all the way down South to check out
the latest designs in slip-ons, sandals and slippers.

PAETE is home to the lanzones fruit, the "ukit" (woodcarving), the "bakya"
(Philippine woodenshoes), the gayly painted papier-mache "taka", the yo-yo
and other toys...and the magical stories, songs and poems that the people
themselves weave in their various celebrations and day-to-day living.
Paete derived its name from "paet", Tagalog word for chisel, the principal
tool used in woodcarving.

Dinner and Night Swimming at Trace Suites’ Training Pool
Night Swimming Fee of Php 450.00 includes entrance as well as one
heavy meal. It will be a barbeque party dinner with a minimum number
of 20 guests. Night swimming starts at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 6 a.m.
Trace Suites is located at Traceville Subdivision, Batong Malake, Los
