Copies: master vocab list, exam overview, armada sheet
Have out your libro and your apuntes. Use this time to organize your apuntes/cuaderno as you need to. You will also need papel y un lápiz/una pluma.
When you are ready with your materials, levanta su mano para un sello.
I will be checking for your LIBRO next class… I will be collecting them for over the break. If you do not have it… it will be a
FINE on your account.
We will complete the speaking section in class next time. Bring your notes!
We are going to finish the speaking practice from the other day… With you same partner
(who should be sitting near you), finish the dialogue and practice.
I will walk around and need to hear you practicing them out loud. For final points!!
We’re going to play a game to review- but first you need to fill in your game board!
Each row represents a verb and each column represents a subject pronoun. Fill in the boxes so that you have a verb chart.
Now, we’re ready to play. Armada means Battleship in Spanish, here are your directions:
1. Fin d a partner and sit across from that person so that your desks are facing each other
2.
Put up a binder or book so that you cannot see your partner’s game board, and vice versa
3. Your game board represents a body of water. In five boxes, make a mark to represent the location of your battleships. Make sure your partner can’t see!
4. One at a time, you and your partner will take turns guessing where each other’s battleships are. To do so, you will say the word in the box where you want to guess. For example “yo soy” and “ella tiene” are examples of guesses.
5.
If you guess a box where your partner has a ship, they will say “golpeado” to indicate that you hit their ship. If not, they will say “agua”. Play until one partner has all of their ships hit!
