Leadership Is Action
April 27, 2003, before Game 4 of the NBA playoffs between
the Portland Trailblazers and Dallas Mavericks.
Natalie Gilbert, a 13-year-old who won a series of contests for
the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at this event,
stepped out onto the court.
This event included over 10000 fans in the arena along with a
national TV audience, flashing lights, and a military guard.
