South East European University
From opening its campus in Tetovo in October 2001, it has succeeded in establishing itself as a quality-led, financially sustainable university. It is now regarded as a model for multi-ethnic, multi-lingual higher education in South East Europe. Today it has more than 5000 students and
8500 graduates. Moreover, it has succeeded in combining the best of European and US experience, and has continued to benefit from academic collaborations sponsored by the EU

There are six faculties which offer undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral studies: Faculty of Contemporary Sciences and Technologies, which represents the centre of excellence in the modern sense of information technology in teachin g and research; Faculty of Languages,
Cultures and Communications ; Faculty of Law; Business and Economics; Public Administration and Political Sciences; Integrated Studies: CONTEMPORARY BANKING MANAGEMENT; -

University American College Skopje
The University American College Skopje (UACS) was established in 2005 as one of the few independent universities in the Republic of Macedonia. The University is an institution for higher education that combines the best of American and European educational experiences.
UACS is proud to have teaching staff that have won many awards in their respective fields.
UACS offers American efficiency through carefully designed curricula, current professional literature and case studies from distinguished authors, as well as implementing the “American
Way”. UACS employs the European model of continuous education. This includes an accelerated baccalaureate degree program as well as extended studies at the graduate level.

University of Tourism and Management Skopje
It was established in 2006 in the capital of Macedonia-Skopje. Its mission is to create, implement and maintain the highest quality education, to foster and promote the tradition, to prepare leaders who will know how to face the challenges that their professional careers will set for them.
It has seven faculties offering Bachelor’s and Master Degrees: Faculty of Tourism; Economics;
Management; Human Resources Management; Public Relations; Sport and Adventure Tourism;
International Marketing Management.
In order to blend theory and practice the University collaborates with many universities from the country and abroad. It also has many international partners, such as W ORLD TOURISM
ORGANISATION UNWTO; Pacific Asia Travel Association PATA; Association of Turkish travel agencies TURSAB; Albanian Tourism Association, ATA; International center for improvement of tourism and catering-SACEN, Belgrade, Serbia; Macedonian Olympic Committee; Hotel

International Balkan University
It was established in 2006 with the support of Turkish and Macedonian businessmen and professors. The university offers bachelor and master degrees at one of the six faculties: Faculty of Art and Design
(Graphic Design, Visual Arts); Economics and Administrative Sciences; Education (History, English
Language and Literature, Turkish language, Psychological Counseling and Guidance); Communications and Public Relations; Humanities and Social Sciences (Psychology, Religious Studies, Political
Sciences); Engineering (Architecture, Computer Engineering, Electronic and Electric Engineering, Civil
Engineering, Industrial Engineering).
The number of students is rapidly increasing and IBU is currently building a campus which is to be finished by September, 2014.

Ss Cyril and Methodius University
The Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje is the first and the most reknown state
University in the Republic of Macedonia, founded in 1949. At the moment, the University represents a functional community of 23 faculties, 5 research institutes and 11 accompanying members.
The Ss. Cyril and Methodius University develops study programmes in all scientific fields – natural sciences and mathematics, tecnical and technological sciences, medical sciences and health, biotechnical sciences, social sciences, humanities and arts. Except for the faculties, the research work, also is carried out in the independent research institutes as an integral part of the University.
Nowadays, the illustration of UKIM through figures is as follows: around 50.000 enrolled students from
Republic of Macedonia in all cycles of studies, as well as over 700 foreign students; over 2.700 teaching, research and associate academic staff at the faculties and at the institutes; over 126.000 graduated high-professional staff (with obtained Bachelor degree); over 5,300 candidates obtained Master’s degree; and around 3,300 doctors of science in all teaching and scientific fields.
The overall activities of the University also include sport, artistic, informative, recreational and other activities organized within many associations, clubs etc.
