“Blessed is he that readeth, and they
that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep
those things which are written therein: for the
time is at hand. (Revelation 1:3)
• Prophecy is God’s utterance of what is to come. (Is. 46:9-
10)
• But fulfilled prophecy means so much more than doom
and gloom. It is actually light and promise. Literally:
promise.
• Prophecy is God’s utterances of what will happen. He
doesn’t have to tell us, but He does. The Ancient of Days,
the Great I Am, tells us what He will do. We have
opportunity then, to decide if we want to be with Him, or
against Him. He is all glory.
• It is the testimony of Jesus Christ (Rev. 19:10)
The Key to the Book:
“Write the things which thou
hast seen, and the things
which are, and the things
which shall be hereafter.”
(Revelation 1:19)
Revelation 1 : reveals Jesus as He was.
Revelation 2 & 3: reveals Jesus to the earthly
Churches
Revelation 4 & 5: reveal Jesus to the “raptured”
Church
Revelation 6 -19 v. 10: reveals Jesus to the nations
Revelation 19 v. 10- 21: reveals Jesus in conquest
at the Battle of Armageddon
Revelation 20-21: reveals Jesus in the Millennium
Revelation 22: reveals Jesus in eternity
RAPTURE: Taken from the words "caught up" in 1
Thessalonians 4:17.
"Rapture" is the derived from a Latin word “repere”
meaning "to catch up" or “snatched away in body or
spirit.” It is used to refer to when Christ returns to earth
and takes His bride (Rev. 21:2), which is made up of all
saved people living and dead since Acts 2, when the
Church Age began.
This event is the resurrection of the believers in the
who will have lived in the dispensation of the Church
Age only. (See 1 Thess. 4:13-18; 1 Cor. 15:51-52)
This is the seven year period of time in which God will again
begin to work with Israel. It is referred to as the "Daniel’s Seventh
Week" based on the time table of Daniel 9:25-27. It begins after
the Rapture.
It is the period when God will pour His wrath on earth in the
Seals, Trumpets and Bowl judgments described in Rev. 6:1-18:24. It
is the time the Antichrist and the false prophet will reign on earth.
It will also be a time of great evangelizing of the world by the
144,000 saved Jews who accept Jesus as their Messiah (Rev. 7:1-8,
14:1-5).
The term “Great Tribulation” was used by
Christ to refer to the final events during the last
half of the seven year Tribulation.
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was
not since the beginning of the world to this time,
no, nor ever shall be.” (Matthew 24:21)
The word “great” is an adjective and is
referring the magnitude of the events of the last 3
½ years
Christ will return to the earth visibly and
will come to purge the world of sinners and
set up His Kingdom over which He will reign
for one thousand years (Acts 1:11, Matt.
24:29-31, Rev. 19).
At the end of the Tribulation Jesus will
return and destroy the Antichrist, the false
prophet and remove all the unsaved on the
earth.

Millennial Kingdom begins
The word "Millennium" means one thousand
and stands for the one thousand year reign of
Christ on the Earth following the Great Tribulation
and the Second Coming of Christ.
After Christ returns to earth He will set up His
Kingdom in Jerusalem and then rule on earth for
one thousand years. It will be a time of peace on
earth with Satan and his evil angels locked up in
the "bottomless pit".
Jesus Christ is the Judge.
This is the final judgment of the unsaved.
This occurs after the Rapture, the
Tribulation and the Millennium.
The unsaved will be judged according to their
works and all will be cast into the Lake of
Fire for eternity.
After Satan’s final revolt at the end of
the Millennium, Revelation 21:1 states that
God will create a new heaven and earth and
the first earth will pass away.
The New Jerusalem and New Heaven
and Earth will be eternal and all the saved
will be with the Lord in this final kingdom
forever. This is the beginning of eternity or
the eternal state of things. (See Rev. 21:1 22:19)
“Blessed is he that readeth,
and they that hear the words
of this prophecy, and keep
those things which are
written therein: for the time
is at hand.” (Revelation 1:3)
Verse 1, states, "things which must
shortly come to past."
The word "time" means "season."
So far this “season” has lasted
2000 years.
However, Christ’s Second Coming is
presented always imminent.
Revelation 1:3, “Blessed is he that readeth, and
they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep
those things which are written therein: for the time
is at hand.”
Revelation 22:18-19, “For I testify unto every man
that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book,
If any man shall add unto these things, God shall
add unto him the plagues that are written in this
book: And if any man shall take away from the
words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take
away his part out of the book of life, and out of the
holy city, and from the things which are written in
this book.”

Biblical Prophet: A Biblical prophet is a God-called
individual, who through the inspiration of the Holy
Spirit, could foresee into the future, often through
dreams or visions, and relate them through inspired
utterances.
Biblical Prophecy: Biblical prophecy consists of the
writings of Holy men of God, as recorded in Scriptures,
which predict events, often thousands of years in
advance before they come to pass.
Preterist View: Book is symbolic &
events are past.
Historic View: False view. Events of
book have all happened in the past.
Idealist or Spiritual View: The book
has no reference to history, past,
present or future.
Futurist View: The book as being the actual
recorded events of past and future history.
Chapters 1-3 - Beginning in John's day an unfolding of
the church history ending with the Rapture.
Chapters 4-18 - Future events of the coming Great
Tribulation ending at the Second Coming of Christ.
Chapter
19 - The Second Coming of Christ.

THE BIBLE IS THE ONLY SOURCE OF
TRUE INSPIRATION
• 2 Timothy 3:16
• 2 Peter 1:21
In addition, Revelation is the only book
in the entire Bible that is completely
Apocalyptic in nature.
• Prophetic symbolism is found through
Apocalyptic literature such as the Book of
Revelation & the Book of Daniel.
• Prophetic symbolism was used to veil the
meaning, especially from the enemies of the Jews.
• Prophetic symbolism is used to allow the wise to
search out the truth (Prov. 25:2)
• Prophetic symbolism is found in the numbers,
colors, and imagery of the allusions to animals.
• John was given care of Mary (John 19:25-27)
• He settled in Ephesus with Mary. (67 AD)
• John penned his name 3x. (Rev. 1:1; 1:4; 1:9)
• He wrote the book from Patmos, an island off the
coast of Turkey (Rev. 1:9)
• He was a political prisoner on the island.
• About 93 AD, John was arrested and went to
Rome where he survived being boiled in oil.
• He was then banished to the isle of Patmos by the
emperor Domitian.
• John sees in Heaven----from within
the heavenly temple (Rev. 4:1)
• John sees on earth----from within
Israel, Jerusalem and the nations.
• John sees under the earth----from
within the abyss (the bottomless
pit, (Rev. 9)
1) The Church-specifically through
chapters 2,3 & 4
2) The Nation of Israel-chapters 6 thru 19.
3) The Gentiles (the rest of the nations)throughout the rest of the book.
• “Things which thou hast seen…”
• Chapter 1: What John saw

Laodicea- Rule of the
people
1. Ephesus describes the Apostolic church; diligent
yet neglected their devotional life.
2. Smyrna fits the persecuted church; Nothing
negative was said about it.
3. Pergamos fits the church that was married to the
world under Constantine; His successors would
make it the official state religion, which was
disastrous spiritually.
4. Thyatira introduced idolatry in the Medieval church,
which became codified into the “Universal”
church; It carries an expressed threat of being cast into
the Great Tribulation.
5. Sardis seems to fit the reformation and the start of
denomationalism. This was one of the churches
that had no commendation.
6.Philadelphia is the glorious church, the
missionary church declaring the name and the
blood of Jesus. It has an expressed promise of being
removed prior to the time of the tribulation period.
7. Laodicea can be referred to as the apostate church.
Thus speaketh Christ our LORD to us:
Ye call me Master and obey Me not.
You call Me light and see Me not.
You call Me the Way and walk Me not.
You call Me Life and choose Me not.
You call Me Wise and follow Me not.
You call Me Fair and love Me not.
You call Me Rich and ask Me not.
You call Me Eternal and seek Me not.
You call Me Noble and serve Me not.
You call Me Gracious and trust Me not.
You call Me Might and honor Me not.
You call Me just and fear Me not.
If I judge you, blame Me not.
Christ is cleaning and relighting the menorah:
In O.T., the lighting procedure of the menorah at the temple
of Jerusalem was as follows:
• the priest was selected by casting lots; then he he began
the cleansing procedure.
• The priest used gold tweezers and a gold jug of pressed
olive oil.
Jesus is trimming the menorah (Rev. 2 & 3):
• Jesus addressed 7 churches located in Asia Minor.
• He rebuked 5 and commended 2 of the 7.
• He told 1 that their light would be snuffed out.
Jesus taught the church to keep its lamps
trimmed and burning:
• Our lights are to be continually burning (Luke
12:35)
• We must keep oil in our lamps to keep the light
burning. (Matt. 25:7)
• The menorah needed fresh oil to continually
burn. (Exodus 27:20)

Jesus said that the interim between when He ascended on a
cloud and when He returned on a cloud IN GREAT POWER
AND GLORY that there would be earthquakes in diverse
places, and likened them to birth pangs. (Luke 21:11; Mt 24:7)
Birth pangs increase in intensity and frequency the closer to
the time of the birth
 Given that the number of earthquakes are rising, what is the
percentage change? Here is the percentage change in 2011
over the annual average number of quakes USGS says we can
expect:

• In the Old Testament, Mount Sinai 'trembled violently'
before God spoke to Moses. (Exodus 19:18).God used an
earthquake to demonstrate the outcome of rebellion
against Him. The ground opened, swallowing Korah and
his men. (Numbers 16:31-32).
• God used an earthquake to show that despite His power
to create an earthquake, Elijah could also hear Him in
the still, small voice. (I Kings 19:11).The great earthquake
at the time of King Uzziah was spoken of by Amos.
Uzziah had grown insolent and haughty. The LORD
used the earthquake to remind the king of the LORD'S
power. That one was a judgment quake. (Josephus
Flavius Antiquities IX 10:4)
• In Matthew 24:7 Jesus told His disciples (and us)
that in the last days there would be earthquakes
in various places as one of the signs of His
coming. (Mt 24:7).
• In Matthew 27:51-54 when Jesus died on the cross
a great earthquake occurred, splitting the Temple
veil in two and resurrecting many saints from
their graves.
• This was a vivid demonstration of His power, and
as a witness to the truth that Jesus is His Son.
• In Revelation, quakes are mentioned 7 times.
• In Revelation 11, when the Two Witnesses are
resurrected, "In the same hour there was a great
earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the
earthquake seven thousand people were killed,
and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the
God of heaven." (Rev 11:13).
• He will use that future quake to show His glory
and many will respond.
An earthquake (also known as a quake, tremor or
temblor) is the result of a sudden release of energy in
the earth’s crust that creates seismic waves.
At the Earth's surface, earthquakes manifest
themselves by shaking and sometimes displacement of
the ground. When the epicenter of a large earthquake
is locates offshore, the seabed may be displaced
sufficiently to cause a tsunami. Earthquakes can also
trigger landslides, and occasionally volcanic activity.

Trumpets have often been used in the life of Israel:
A loud trumpet was blown on Mt. Sinai at the giving of the
law. (Ex. 19:19)
One of the seven feasts was called the Feast of trumpets
(Lev. 23:2-25)
A trumpet was sounded on the Day of Atonement during
the Year of Jubilee (Lev. 25:9)
Two silver trumpets were used to assemble the children of
Israel and direct them in moving from place to place
during their wilderness journeys (Nu. 1o:1-8)
Trumpets were also used to sound the alarm to go to war.
(Nu. 10:9-10)
• Trumpets were blown during various feasts and

celebrations. (Nu. 10:9-10)
The prophet Joel spoke of a trumpet being blown to
sound an alarm concerning the Day of the LORD
(Joel 2:1)
The same passage speaks of a trumpet being blown to
call the people of Israel to a fast and sacred assembly.
(Joel 2:15)

 This number is referred to in the Bible at least 2 times:
 1 Kings 10:14 and 2 Chronicles 9:13
 The number 6:
6 = number of man; Goliath: 6 cubits; 6 shekel spear; 6
pieces of armor(1 Samuel 17)
Nebuchadnezzar’s image: 60 cubits high; 6 cubits wide; 6
instruments of music (Daniel 3:1)
No man can buy or sell w/o the name or number of the
beast.
This 666 connection is, however, just one minor component of Bible
prophecy pointing to the Middle Eastern Islamic empire as being,
geographically, the leopard-bear-lion beast of Revelation 13.
The seat of Islam today, Iraq, Iran, and Syria/Lebanon occupies the same
geographical region as Daniel's successive lion, bear, and leopard
kingdom "beasts" (Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece)
Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and
judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were
beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which
had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received
his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands
Is the Lord showing Christians, Jews and Muslims through this 666
connection, which "man" and "beast" carries this number, as we now find
ourselves in Daniel's "time of the end"?

After the fall of Babylon, Jesus will come again. It is right before
this time that these 3 frog-like demons will be deceptively
leading all the kings of the world to Armageddon.
What we see happening here is that these evil spirits gather all
these people together to war against Jesus before he returns.
These people that are preparing to war against Jesus are not
Christians. Also, they are preparing to war against Him before He
returns. How do they know Jesus is about to return? If they are
being gathered together to war, it must mean they think they
will have someone to fight- yet Jesus hasn't returned yet. And do
these people know it is Jesus they are preparing to war against?
No matter what they think of Jesus, they are not Christians, and
their view of Jesus must be negative.
 Let's review some facts about evil spirits, or demons.
Demons don't have bodies, and they cannot materialize
physically. Bodies are something that indicate fallen
angels. Yet here demons are said to look like frogs.
People can't see demons, so how could a demon look
like a frog? In order for a demon to be seen, it would
have to be in the body of some person or animal. In this
case, the animal that they are described to look like is a
frog.
 So let's say these 3 demons were inside and controlling 3
frogs. How likely do you think it is that people would
follow 3 frogs to gather for war? Would an army of
humans let themselves be led by 3 actual demonpossessed frogs?
• These frogs would doing (deceptive) signs and wonders,
under the power of Satan and his fallen angels, but it still
seems unlikely that people would let themselves be led
by 3 frogs to battle, no matter the circumstances. It
sounds as convincing as a fairy tale, for the kings of the
earth to be led to battle by 3 demon-possessed frogs that
seem to be working (false) miracles and wonders.
• But note that John doesn't say the three evil spirits "are 3
frogs". He says they "looked like frogs". So assuming they
are not frogs, what else might these demons be inside
of that looks like a frog?

Both have large eyes & similar facial features.
Both have similar hand and finger structure.
Both have no distinguishable external genitalia.
Both have no hair.
Both absorb through their skin.
It is highly probable then that what John saw, which he
described as "3 evil spirits that looked like frogs", could
quite possibly be 3 demons in the bodies of 3 “gray aliens”.

Prepare and order our lives according to the Coming Kingdom.
The central emphasis of the whole Bible is that the DAY OF THE
LORD IS COMING!!!!
The literal return of the Messiah from Heaven is coming.
The literal, physical resurrection of the Dead in Christ is coming.
The day of justice for the righteousness and oppressed is coming.
The day of judgment against all sin and unrighteousness is coming.
The day of salvation for the remnant of Israel is coming.
The judgment of ALL who oppress Israel is coming.
