introduced as the first exchange students from Turkey, and everybody was very

ERASMUS+
 Erasmus is the European Commission's educational
programme for Higher Education students, teachers
and institutions. It provides opportunities for
students to study or undertake a work placement
abroad as part of their degree.

Erasmus+
WHO IS WHO
 The European Commission
is one of the main institutions of the European Union. It represents and
upholds the interests of the EU as a whole. It manages the day-to-day
business of implementing EU policies and spending EU funds. EC is
seated in Brussels.
 The National Agency
is a link between the European Commission and AIU. UE budget
distributor. NA is seated in Ankara.
International Programs Office
IPO is a link between the National Agency and the AIU students.
Responsibilities:
 To provide information and counciling about international
programs including Erasmus+
 To take care of all official documentation related to any
exchange programs

A potential trainee / intern
 student registered at AIU who have completed at
least 2 regular semesters with a minimum CGPA
of 2.20.
 Home Institution / Sending Institution  Host Institution / Receiving Institutionany public or private organization active in the labor
market or in the fields of education, training and youth.
Where
You can do your internship in any of the following
organizations located in one of the 34 countries of the
European Union:
 a public body at local, regional or national level;
 a social partner or other representative of working life, including
chambers of commerce, craft/professional associations and trade
unions;
 a research institute; a foundation;
 a school/institute/educational center (at any level, from pre-school to
upper secondary education, and including vocational education and
adult education);
 a non-profit organization, association, NGO;
 a body providing career guidance, professional counselling and
information services
How long
 Min 2 months, max 12 months
 Must be completed till September 30th, 2015.

This year, 2015 IPO is planning to sent up to 35 students for internships.

 the negotiation of terms for advertising/advertising on the portal in a
foreign language
 searching and negotiation of terms with local and foreign partners portal

 MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
4. Language Skills
5. Other skills, knowledge
 responsibility, autonomy, creativity, initiative, organizational skills, ability to
work in a team
