Basic Course Information Grading • Grade Scale There will be no +/- grading A 90 to 100% B 80 to 89.9% C 70 to 79.9% D 60 to 69.9% • Grade Breakdown E below 60% Midterm Exams – 50% Final Exam (exam 6) – 10% Homework, quizzes, participation – 40% Basic Course Information • Exam Dates Testing Test 1 – Monday, February 7 Test 2 – Tuesday, February 22 Test 3 – Tuesday, March 8 Test 4 – Tuesday, March 29 Test 5 – either Monday, April 18 or Tuesday, April 19 • Tests are taken in Math Testing Center (PSA 21) Basic Course Information Testing • Final Date and Time The final exam will be given at the time listed on the Final Exam Schedule(s) page online at http://students.asu.edu/final-exam-schedule Basic Course Information Attendance • Attendance Policy For Fall and Spring semesters: For classes that meet two days a week, the maximum number of allowed absences is four (4). Students who exceed the number of allowed absences will receive a grade of EN. Being late or leaving early constitutes an absence (even if it is "only a minute"). Basic Course Information Time Studying and Preparation Time: The course requires you to spend time preparing and completing assignments. A three-credit course requires a minimum of 135 hours of student work. Basic Course Information Course Set-up This course is sectioned into six modules. Each module consists of video lectures, homework assignments, quizzes, and a test. Videos are assigned to be watched before class. In class, you will work on the homework and complete group quizzes.
