DENNIS MILLER (Zander Kelly)
After eight very successful years, DENNIS MILLER (Zander Kelly) has just completed his nationally
syndicated Westwood One (formerly Dial Global) Radio talk show, “The Dennis Miller Show” which
aired five days a week. He is also a regular contributor for “The O’Reilly Factor” on the FOX News
Channel.
It’s been said that Miller is “One of the premiere comedy talents in America today…” While others
are blunt when assessing Miller’s comedic stature, Dennis himself makes a virtue of
understatement, but there is nothing low key about his career.
Miller is a five-time Emmy award winner for his critically acclaimed half-hour, live talk show
“Dennis Miller Live” which had a nine year run on HBO. Miller also garnered three Writer’s Guild of
America Awards for the series as well as an additional WGA Award for his 1997 HBO special,
“Dennis Miller: Citizen Arcane.” He also wrote and starred in the Emmy-nominated cable comedy
special “Raw Feed.” That show, along with the six other standup specials he did for HBO from
1988-2006, are featured in the recently released DVD set, “Dennis Miller: The HBO Specials.” His
eighth special for HBO, “Dennis Miller: The Big Speech” debuted last year and is now available on
DVD. He was the host and executive producer of CNBC’s “Dennis Miller”, a topical interview talk
show featuring reasoned discourse, opinion and humor. Additionally, Miller has appeared on many
politically oriented television talk shows.
He’s also been cast in films, usually in dramatic roles, most notably in 1994's “Disclosure,” 1995's
“The Net,” and 1997's “Murder at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.” He also appeared in the 2008
release, “What Happens in Vegas.”
Dennis has achieved success in the literary arena with four books, “I Rant Therefore I Am,” “The
Rants,” “Ranting Again,” and “The Rant Zone” have all been New York Times best sellers. For two
seasons, Miller called the plays alongside Al Michaels and NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Fouts
on ABC’s “Monday Night Football.” He was also the “Weekend Update” correspondent on
“Saturday Night Live” for six years, before exiting in 1991. He has yet to appear in a show with the
words, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday in the title.
Over the years, Miller has become both a public and critical favorite. The New York Times said, “Mr.
Miller is exquisitely attuned to contemporary foibles…his material can be scathing, his delivery low
key…Mr. Miller reaches a bit farther than most comedians for the scorching comment…this smart
aleck has an uncommonly sharp eye…” and The Hollywood Reporter called his most recent special,
“an hour of topical, scathing brilliance that helps cement Miller’s status as the Lenny Bruce of the
new millennium…the most cerebral, astute and clever standup ever to put mouth to microphone.”
ADAM BEACH (Kicking Wing) is a force to be reckoned with. Since making his way to Hollywood,
Adam has starred in over eighty film and television programs. He’s spent the last twenty-plus years
working consistently with some of the biggest names in the business. His performances in films
such as, “Flags of Our Fathers,” and “Windtalkers,” have made him a staple amongst the most
talented.
Born in Manitoba, Canada, but raised in Winnipeg, Adam found his love for acting when he joined a
drama class and began preforming in local theatre programs.
Adam found his small screen success when he joined the cast of, “Law and Order: Special Victims
Unit. After a season, he went on to the critically acclaimed show, Big Love,” just before finding a
home on the TV series, “Arctic Air.”
After reprising his role in “Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser” as Kicking Wing, Beach is now onto the much
anticipated “Suicide Squad,” starring as Christopher Weiss/Slipknot.
PATRICK WARBURTON (Foggle/Clair) is known to many for the role of “Puddy” in the hit NBC
comedy, “Seinfeld,” as the laconic, enigmatic, quirky Saab salesman and Elaine’s boyfriend.
Warburton also starred for 7 seasons on the hit CBS comedy “Rules of Engagement,” alongside
David Spade, Oliver Hudson, and Megyn Price, which was about two couples and their single friend,
all at different stages in their relationships dealing with the complications of dating, commitment,
and marriage. Patrick also played “Guy” in the international blockbuster comedy “TED” and
recently completed shooting the highly anticipated sequel “TED 2,” where he reprised his role. His
list of credits doesn’t end there though. Warburton starred on the ABC hit comedy “Less than
Perfect,” as “Jeb Denton,” an opinionated network anchorman; on the hit show “NewsRadio” as
“Johnny Johnson” the unscrupulous business rival who takes over the station; and on the live
action series “The Tick” as the Tick himself. Warburton also starred in Disney’s major motion
picture, live action comedy UNDERDOG, as the archenemy “Cad,” which is based on the 1964
cartoon television series. He’s also perhaps the busiest voiceover artist in Hollywood sought out for
his range and ability to portray many characters, including the role of the paraplegic and overzealous cop, “Joe Swanson,” on the hit comedy “Family Guy.”
Warburton was the lead in the independent film THE CIVILIZATION OF MAXWELL BRIGHT,
in which he stared as a vicious and self-destructive anti-hero who desperately needs to save his
soul. The film won numerous festival awards where Warburton captured Best Actor at the Beverly
Hills Film Festival, New York VisionFest, and the Boulder International Film Festival. The film’s other
honors include Viewer’s Choice at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, the Special Jury Award at
WorldFest Houston and at the Florida Film Festival, Grand Jury Prize at the Florida Film Festival, and
the Vision Award for David Beaird at WorldFest Houston. This festival favorite is essentially a
modern re-telling of “Beauty and the Beast” that explores what happens when a modern
Neanderthal is locked in close proximity with a kind and loving woman. Written and directed by
David Beaird, THE CIVILIZATION OF MAXWELL BRIGHT co-stars Jennifer Tilly, Marie Matiko, Simon
Callow and Eric Roberts. In addition, Warburton starred in the independent feature film I’LL
BELIEVE YOU alongside Fred Willard, Thomas Gibson, and Chris Elliott, a comedy for young
adults/teens about a hunt for an alleged alien living in a small town after a mysterious phone call is
received on a radio broadcast. The film was released in April of 2007 to 1,500 theaters nationwide,
quite the accomplishment for a small independent film.
To complement his animated films, Warburton voiced the hit cartoon series “Scooby-Doo!
Mystery Incorporated” and the animated feature “BEE MOVIE” with Jerry Seinfeld, Renée
Zellweger, Uma Thurman and Oprah Winfrey. He played the character “Rip Smashenburn” in the
UPN animated series “Game Over,” the voice of “Brock Samson” in the animated adult series “The
Venture Brothers,” and the voice of “Mr. Barkin” on the Disney Channel’s “Disney’s Kim Possible.”
He plays the character of Ian, “the ultimate alpha-male,” in the Sony animated film OPEN SEASON
opposite Ashton Kutcher and Martin Lawrence. Playing in both regular theaters and IMAX 3-D, it
was a box office smash on its opening week as #1 and held top spots following its debut.
Warburton’s voice can also be heard alongside that of Sarah Michelle Geller, Sigourney Weaver,
George Carlin, Andy Dick, and Freddie Prinze Jr. in the animated feature film HAPPILY N’EVER
AFTER, from the producers of SHREK, where he plays the voice of “Prince Humperdink.” As the
voice of the “Savior of the Universe” in Disney’s animated Saturday morning TV series “Buzz
Lightyear,” Warburton’s voice has also graced the big screen in the Disney animated film THE
EMPEROR’S NEW GROOVE, KRONKS NEW GROOVE and “The Emperor’s New School.”
Warburton started his television career appearing regularly on the CBS sitcom "Dave's
World," with Harry Anderson and Mesach Taylor and originally guest-starred on “Seinfeld” as the
painted-faced New Jersey Devils’ fan and Jerry’s mechanic, only to become one of the show’s
funniest fixtures. He also did commercial spots for American Express (as the voice of “Superman”
alongside Seinfeld), Cadillac, and M&Ms. Warburton starred in THE WOMAN CHASER, which
received critical acclaim at the prestigious New York Film Festival and The Sundance Film Festival,
as well as opposite Sam Neill in THE DISH, an Australian production about the first man on the
moon. Barry Sonnenfeld directed Warburton in the Columbia Tri Star half-hour comedy “The Tick,”
which continues to have a huge cult following since its release on DVD. The show gained its
popularity with audiences due to its relaxed, adult-friendly comedy. “The Tick”, in addition to the
DVD, has released action figures, t-shirts, and Quaker Oat LIFE cereal boxes with “The Tick”
character adorning the cover. He also paired up with Tim Allen in Sonnenfeld’s feature films BIG
TROUBLE and JOE SOMEBODY, and also appeared in SCREAM 3 and MEN IN BLACK 2.
A native Californian, Patrick grew up in Huntington Beach and currently resides in Los Angeles
with his wife Cathy and four children Talon, Alexandra (Lexie), Shane, and Gabriel. When talking
about his children, Patrick's face lights up as he describes them as the ultimate joy and love of his
life. With what little spare time he has, Patrick gets in a game of golf or tennis, does activities with
his children, and spends time in his cabin on the Rogue River in Oregon with his family. Warburton
also hosts the annual charity golf tournament “Golf for Kids,” a Celebrity Tournament to benefit St.
Jude Children’s Hospital each year in Palm Springs, CA.
MARK MCGRATH (Jimmy)
When “Sugar Ray’s” breakthrough hit song “Fly” put them on the map in 1997, lead vocalist MARK
MCGRATH (Jimmy) was thrust into the public eye. Its no doubt the band maintains its momentum
due in no small part to the good looks, charisma and talent of its front man, Mark McGrath.
Born in Hartford, Connecticut and raised in Southern California, McGrath first appeared with Sugar
Ray (then known as the Shrinky Dinx) when he jumped on stage and grabbed the microphone. Two
years later, in 1994, the band changed its name and landed a deal with Atlantic Records. Shortly
after, in 1997, the band’s collaboration with reggae artist Super Cat resulted in the song “Fly,”
which dominated the airwaves. Later that year, and following the success of their number-one hit,
Sugar Ray released its second album, “Floored,” which went double platinum. Sugar Ray’s success
rocketed McGrath to pop-star status, as he graced the covers of “Rolling Stone” and “Spin.” He
even made People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” issue, named “Sexiest Rocker” in 1998.
McGrath has made guest appearances on the hit television dramas “Las Vegas” and “North Shore.”
He has been featured on a number of MTV and VH1 programs, including the “Teen Choice Awards,”
“My VH1 Music Awards,” “Rock ‘n’ Roll Jeopardy,” the “American Music Awards” and the “ESPY
Awards.” McGrath has hosted VH1’s “I Love the 80’s” and “The Greatest: 100 Most Shocking
Moments in Rock and Roll,” and the primetime specials “The World Music Awards” and “Victoria’s
Secret Fashion Show” as well as “The Search for the Next Pussycat Doll.” With appearances in The
Office, Neighbors, Fact Checkers and Law & Order SVU and movie appearances in the feature film
“Scooby-Doo” and Uptown Girls and Fathers Day to name a few. In addition he was the co-host of
Extra and host of “Don’t Forget the Lyrics” a Twentieth Century Fox syndication.
This past summer Mark co-starred in Sharknado 2 The Second One and is appearing in Joe Dirt 2:
Beautiful Loser this coming summer.
Sugar Ray continues delivering the hits live and with the Under the Sun tour, which combines great
bands from the 90’s, and their top 10 hits. Sugar Ray has a robust schedule of live dates scheduled
and look forward to seeing everyone out on the road. “This is my life’s work,” he notes. “People
say, ‘You’re still in the band?’ This is what I do! I’m gonna be in Sugar Ray till I die! I’ve been lucky
enough to fit a uniform, I’m gonna wear it till the wheels fall off!”
CHARLOTTE MCKINNEY (Missy)
Model and actress, CHARLOTTE MCKINNEY (Missy), is the centerpiece of the highly buzzed about
Carl’s Jr. Super Bowl ad, the fast-food chain’s most successful to date with a staggering 2.5 billion
media impressions in less than two weeks. She previously fronted a campaign for the iconic brand,
Guess. Charlotte began modeling full-time at the age of 17. In addition to modeling, she continues
to build her acting career across television and film. This summer, she can be seen in Joe Dirt 2:
Beautiful Loser, co-starring Christopher Walken and David Spade.
BARON DAVIS, a current free agent tin the NBA, makes a special cameo appearance in a role
opposite Spade as the doctor that rescues his balls. Maybve a roll he was born to play?
Davis, who was born in the South Central area of Los Angeles, has had a wild basketball
career from the beginning. In high school he played at a prestigious private school in Santa Monica
that led him to a college career at UCLA where he lasted two years before entering the NBA draft.
In 1999 he was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets, where he would spend the next six
seasons and see a ton of success, injuries, and even a team relocation to New Orleans. In 2005 he
traded in his southern status to make his way to the west coast and play for the Golden State
Warriors, which would begin a six year stint on the west coast. Three years spent near the Golden
Gate Bridge and three spent in Los Angeles, where he played for the Clippers, battling injuries and
politics. In 2011 the Clippers chose to opt out of re-signing Davis which led him to the Cleveland
Cavaliers for a short while before he landed on the New York Knicks bench until February of 2012
when he took over as their starting point guard.
During a playoff game in 2012, Davis injured his knee - an injury that would require surgery
and keep him off of the court for a year. Though he still has yet to sign with a team, Davis has
hopes of returning to the NBA someday.
Davis is a Sandler favorite, having already had a cameo in his film, “That’s My Boy.”
CREW
FRED WOLF [Director, Co-Writer] is no stranger to what makes people laugh. A comedy genius that
got his start in Los Angeles, he has written some of the funniest material out there. Though Fred
spent some time co-hosting “Comics Only” on Comedy Central, his real break in the industry was
when he was staffed as a writer on SNL. Working alongside some of the funniest men in the
business, Fred made a network of friends he could write for – and so he did. His writing credits
include almost 100 episodes of SNL and the beloved 90’s big screen movie, “Black Sheep.” Since his
days at SNL, Fred has written or had an influence on some major box office hits such as “Joe Dirt,”
“Without A Paddle,” and “Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star,” but writing isn’t his only talent. Joe
also loves the art of directing and his vision can be seen in, “The House Bunny,” starring Anna Faris
and Emma Stone and “Grown Ups,” which he also co-wrote with Adam Sandler. When not deep in
the world of comedy, Fred spends most of his time in the deserts of Santa Fe or the beaches of
Carmel.
