Then I thought it was impossible that I beat Obama. I realized that I was in a dream. Then I woke up. Lucid or Stupid You are in class learning oral English from Teacher Ari. Suddenly, Teacher Ari turns into a vampire! He starts biting everyone in the class. You become very scared and then wake up. (Stupid) You go to Beijing with your family on vacation. When you walk around outside, you see Mao Zedong! He is eating a sandwich from McDonalds. You think, “This is very strange. I must be dreaming.” So you sit down next to Mao and tell him a joke. They you wake up. (Lucid) You are talking to your best friend. Your friend tells you that it will be fun to jump out of a window. You say “Are you crazy? I don’t want to die!” Your friend says, “Don’t worry. This is just a dream.” You say “This isn’t a dream, this is real life!” Your friend jumps but you don’t. Then you wake up. (Stupid) You look in a mirror and all of your hair is pink! Then you wake up. You look in the mirror and your hair is black. You realized that you were just dreaming (Stupid). Help the Dreamer Gareth is never sure if he is asleep or awake. One time he went to school in his underwear because he thought it was all a dream. (Reality check) Pauline often stays in bed for a long time after she wakes up. After she gets out of bed, she has trouble remembering her dreams.
