uniform shirts. The Dress Code is navy

Title One
The Goal of Title I is to improve student
achievement through; Effective classroom
instruction, parent involvement, and
professional development.
Parent Involvement means the participation of
parents in regular, two-way meaningful
communication involving student academic learning
and other school activities.
Parents have the right to know:
·The professional qualifications of the student’s
teachers and paraprofessionals.
·If their child has been assigned to or taught for
4+weeks by a teacher who is not highly qualified.
·The level of achievement of their child on state
academic assessments.
·Description of the school’s curriculum and
information about the academic assessments and
proficiency standards.
·School and district parent involvement policies and
plans and summaries.
·Specific information about the schools Title I
program and opportunities to become involved in
their child’s education.
·School-parent compact. The compact must be
referenced with elementary aged students during a
parent conference.

Application in Math and Science
(concentrating on Exploring,
Engaging, and Explaining).

Standards are very challenging for
students? For more information,

teacher.

Dear Parents,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Welcome back to a new year and a new term! January
is a great time to start anew in many ways. Our school
resolutions continue focus on fulfilling our mission and
vision.
The Vision
We strive to prepare today’s learners for the world of
tomorrow through meaningful relationships that inspire
innovative, productive, life-long learners in a changing
global society.
The Mission
We seek to provide success for all through challenging
academics and wide-ranging enrichment in a diverse
learning community where character, accountability,
and relationships guide our path to excellence.
We are looking forward to an exciting and busy term!!
Reminders & Updates:
*Let’s start the New Year by being punctual for school
and looking smart
and tidy in our school uniform: Trousers/skirt denim/khaki -Blouse/Shirt/polo shirt - hunter green or
navy blue - or New Garner T-Shirts (ROAR Logo) hunter
green or navy blue *gold-acceleration classes only

*All students are expected to follow the school-wide
discipline plan.
*Please see/contact your child's teacher if you have
questions about grades, student's meeting the behavior
plan expectations or other factors relevant to student
learning in the classroom.
*Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) Writing Testing
begins March 2, 2016 for Fourth and Fifth Grades.
Please share with your child the seriousness in giving their
academic best every instructional day.
Grades third through fifth will continue testing
throughout the months of April and May for FSA and End
of Year Course Exams. Time is of the essence.
Please help us to motivate the students to press extra
hard as they face the hurdles of tacking such challenging
academic expectations.
