Senior English: British Literature
Goals: Students will gain an understanding of British literature by chronologically studying
the progress made by major British authors. Students will gain an understanding of British
history through its literary works as well as the world-wide influence Great Britain has
made throughout history. Students will vary their reflective writings in the form of
satirical creative pieces, editorials, and expository essays. This will improve their ability to
connect with literature, their writing style, as well as their spelling, grammar, and essay
variety.
