I didn't get involved with "college life" as one who was working to put myself through college
and living off-campus. This is also why it took an extra year, as opposed to the standard four
to get my baccalaureate degree. I also attended at a time when tuition and fees were much
lower so I was able to get my degree debt free.
• Advice
•
Get to know each professor and know when their office hours are, then "tap their brains." The
expression "working smarter instead of harder" really begins to take form. The pace is much
faster than in high school, so it becomes really important to learn ways to become more
efficient, along with making use of ALL resources available.
