The AEA Educational Foundation has awarded more than $1.5 million to
students seeking careers in the aircraft electronics and aviation maintenance
industry. Number scholarships are available and range from $1,000 to more

In an effort to provide an outlet for teenagers to express their thoughts about
Alzheimer’s disease and to engage the younger generation in this cause, AFA is
pleased to offer the AFA Teens for Alzheimer’s Awareness College
Scholarship. Beginning in 2014, scholarship awards to deserving college-bound
students will be a $5,000 scholarship to the winner; and $2,500 and $1,000
scholarships to the first and second runners-up, respectively. Additionally,
seven $500 scholarships will be awarded for Honorable Mention. Applicants
must submit an autobiography and write a 1,200 to 1,500 word essay on the

Scholarships
The NSDAR awards multiple scholarships to students showing dedication to
the pursuit of degrees in diverse disciplines including history, law, nursing, and
education. The DAR Scholarship Committee awards scholarships to qualified
applicants regardless of race, religion, sex or national origin. All multi-year
scholarships, typically renewable up to four years, must be for consecutive
years of attendance at an accredited college or university in the United States.
The only exception is the American Indian Scholarship that is available for

Competition
The Get2College Scholarship Competition is a $1000 scholarship for

Kohl’s Cares

Program
Every year, Kohl's recognizes and rewards young volunteers (ages 6-18) across the
country for their amazing contributions to their communities. This year, Kohl's will
award more than 2,200 kids with over $440,000 in scholarships and prizes. To be
eligible, the student must meet the following criteria as of March 15, 2014: Must be
between the ages of 6 and 18 and not yet a high school graduate, Actions must be
described in detail and should document efforts above and beyond what is expected of
a child his or her age, Volunteer efforts must have occurred in the last year, and
Winners are chosen based on the project, benefits and outcome. This year, more than
2,200 kids will be recognized with over $440,000 in scholarships and prizes. Store

Program
The University of Mississippi Luckyday scholarship is based on both academic
accomplishments and remaining financial obligations after grants and scholarships
have been calculated. Scholarships range from $2,000-$5,000 per year. Students who
receive the Luckyday Scholarship participate in the Luckyday Success Program, which
provides mentoring, tutoring, networking, and leadership opportunities. In order to
receive consideration, all interested students should submit an application to the

The Mississippi Academy of Family Physicians Foundation Board of Trustees
established the David G. Hall, M.D. Memorial Scholarship to award scholarships to
seniors in schools across Mississippi interested in pursuing a career in the field of

(METP)
The Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program (METP) is a collaboration
between The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and Mississippi State
University (MSU) to attract top-performing students to become teachers using
one of the most valuable scholarships ever offered in the state. Our goal is to
train new secondary English and mathematics teachers for Mississippi. Each
METP fellow makes a five-year commitment to teach at a Mississippi public
school after graduation. Both universities will accept up to 20 fellows each fall
