Incoming Freshmen Survey 2012
Development and Final Responses
August 20, 2012
Procedure of Survey Administration
• An email invitation with Dr. Ridgeway’s/Dr. Hephner
LaBanc’s message and signature was sent out 5-7 days prior
to each orientation session for those new incoming
students that had signed up for that specific orientation
session.
– The numbers were confirmed with Enrollment Services prior to
sending the invitations out for each orientation session.
– Each invitation is tied to a unique link sent out to the students.
– Included in the Qualtrics data is the UM Student ID
• A follow up reminder was sent out 1-2 days prior to the
future students arriving on campus that had not completed
the survey.
